I got an email with a pin # a while back that offered value resorts at $59. a night from April 17th (I think) until July 4th. We hadn't planned on going on vacation this year and we probably need to do some remodeling but I kept thinking about that code and plus my brother and sis in law want us to come back to visit this summer. They live less than a block from the beach in Flagler Beach just north of Daytona and my kids love it there. We can go to WDW and then relax at the beach and visit them. I called today and said I was really more interested in POR and I got a standard view room for $79. per night. I will ease this idea into dh's system slowly like I always do. 
The kids are growing rapidly and they older they get the harder it is to coordinate time for family vacations so in my mind I'm thinking a new floor can wait, family and memories with them are more important. Plus, last year I broke my arm the day before we left and had to have a plate and 9 screws put into my arm when I returned so even though I did ride some things it definitely put a damper on things for me.
