That Fantasy can't steal our Magic! March 30, 2012

I've gotten worse- seeing the ship the first time was like "oh, cool" but I cried when I left. Now I cry when I get there and cry even more when I have to leave! Definitely packing the waterproof mascara! ;)

Got my cruise documents in the mail today:banana:
I wish March 30 would hurry up and get here!!!!

I don't know if you'd be interested but my DD, myself, and Karajeboo's family are chartering a boat in Grand Cayman. We'll get to snorkel and go to sting ray city, maybe something else too?!?!? We have room for 3 more.

We are doing a private charger with FrogLady23 (Tammi and Tori) and have room for 3 more on our excursion, if you are interested!

Oh, you beat me to it! lol I think we go to Stingray City, a reef, a beach, and a drop anchor at the beach, which also has a restaurant...... It's a 4 hour tour....

Ugh i wish i could go on the tour with you guys, but me and my daughter are absolutely TERRIFIED of stingrays :scared1:
Thanks anyways though, im sure it will be so much fun!

Cruise documents in hand.... 40 days til sailing.... and watching youtube videos today! Life is good! :goodvibes

Woke up to 4.5 inches of snow today- everything looks so beautiful.
But it sure makes me look forward to palm trees, white sand and tropical breezes!!!!
Oh and I should not forget the DOTDs!!!:thumbsup2

It was a fleeting moment! It is now sunny and 45 degrees so no more snow on the trees and much of it on the ground is that wonderful chemical filled mush after the roads are treated:rolleyes: And we are expected to be near 60 degrees on Thursday and Friday.

Crossing my fingers that you will get your docs tomorrow. It is so nice to see those luggage tags. My DS (14) is even getting excited!

so - a couple of questions.

How are folks coming on their goals for getting healthy before the cruise?? I am getting there and the warm weather (e.g., no winter) has helped.

Have you or would you do couples massage on castaway? We booked it but I am having second thoughts. seems like an awful lot.....

went through all the clothes - we have our shopping list. Has anyone seen sales on shorts or sundresses yet?

Have a wonderful Monday evening

Hi Kate,

I'm back at Weight Watchers but haven't lost much yet. Hopefully, I'll get back on track soon and at least look/feel a little better for the cruise!

Shopping list - wow, you are good!

Enjoy your evening!

Ok last year when we went on the spring break cruise, we would check back at the rooms available and by about february, the ship was FULL.
Our boat still has a lot of rooms available, waddup with dat:confused3

I'm back on WW as well. Down 14 pounds since the first week of Jan. Hoping for 9 - 11 more before the cruise, but we will be spending a week in Tampa with my sister before the cruise. She's one of the best transplanted southern cooks ever.... So I am bit worried about that week.

I just realized that I need to check on shorts and stuff for the kids. Hasn't been warm here in forever, so I hadn't thought much about what the kiddos need for warm weather stuff.

Just realized the Epcot International Flower and Garden Festival is going on during our stay before and after the cruise! March 7 to May 20, 2012 are the dates. It is so beautiful to see! YAY!!! :daisy:

I also do WW!!!! :goodvibes
My cruise clothes are fitting again so I am very happy. :woohoo:
Trying to stay on WW plan before cruise. While I do not pig out on the cruise I do try something if I want it. I just walk deck 4 every evening with the DH. Looking forward to all the fresh fruit on board!!!:banana:

I am much lighter than I was a year ago but still have so far to go. I have been doing it on my own (with the help of the gym and a few meetings with a nutrionist). The fam has been great and supportive of the experiments we call dinner some nights :rotfl2:

I keep hearing about WW. So you all like it? It is easy? I am learning with prep work I can be pretty good - the bad days are when I am crazy busy and have not planned ahead so I eat whatever is there. There is a WW group starting at work. Think I need to look into it.

Started packing last night - getting so excited. :cloud9:

I wonder if everyone wants the Fantasy. Our last cruise was not so scary in Oct/Nov 2010 and that was a full ship so I cannot wait to see what a non full ship looks like.

so what kind of weather should we expect for the cruise?

Oh I would love to see that. I am guessing you need the regular ticket to Epcot for that?

I love WW. It makes me be accountable for what I eat. As far as easy - some days are and some aren't. You don't need to be hungry, especially with the new plan. Fruits and most veggies are free (no points). It really encourages you to grab an apple, banana, etc. when you are hungry instead of other stuff. The hard days are when you want girl scout cookies - you can have them - but you have to decide if it is worth the points. I would definately recommend going to a meeting and see what you think. The meetings are really great for support.

You need the regular park admission ticket.
It is so cool to see.
Disney is already beautifully decorated with flowers and this is like WOW decorated! LOL
We have been to WDW one other time and it was just before it started. The place was so beautiful. All the countries also had decorated. England had Pooh characters in topiary.
Well worth the admission price!

I was doing great until I had surgery, then all I wanted was comfort foods and I haven't gotten back on the diet plan.... But I lost 20 since last 4th of July, mainly by cutting back on carbs. Jeff had lost about 10, starting Dec 1, but then he was eating my comfort foods!

We were going to do the couples massage on the ship, but when "Santa" brought us the cabana, I tossed that out the window!

I checked a couple months ago, thinking about upgrading. Um, can we say, OUCH! Our room, if booked now, is $1300 MORE than when we booked on our cruise last year. That is OUTRAGEOUS! So you can imagine what an upgrade was going to cost! :scared1:

My absolute favorite time of year to visit WDW - of course it doesn't hurt that Epcot is my favorite park!

We went same time last year and it was very warm - the water in CC was chilly, but not too cold, and the air temps while at sea were quite warm. The breeze made it comfortable though.
