Thankyou all -update-*so fed-up*

Get well soon, sorry to hear about the infection try not to worry too much  Take care x

Thought i was doing well, but now found out yesterday got the start of an infection on it-the skin part, which i must admit is really scaring me at the moment- i'm so worried it could go deeeper into the cut:sad2:

Oh Jeanette, try not too worry(i know it's easy for me to say that).Have you been given anti-biotics for it,keep it clean etc...x.x.

Sorry to hear about the latrest complication! What a nightmare! :grouphug:

yes on anti- biotics and have to have the dressing changed nearly everyday as its leaking a bit, was supposed to be having stitches out tomorrow but it doesnt look like it now..
would love to be able to have a bath!!!

Sounds like you are doing everything right, hoping for the infection to go soon :)

Claire ;)

The district nurse been and can't take my stitches out, as the top one is too deeply embedded :sad2: off to the docs tomorrow to see if he can do it -wish me luck and pixie dust!

what a mess i'm in, i'm still on anti-biotics and have another course of them to take.
the sutures are like one big running stitch that should of been easy to just pull out- but not now in my case:sad2: because my back is quite inflamed with infection the stitches aretoo embedded in my back and difficult to see and what happened yesterday was just a nightmare, the doc had to try and cut the stiches that he could see out by digging into my back, he's managed to get some out but not all, all i can say is that my toes were curling with the pain of what he was doing :sad1: he's supposed to be having another go at the stitches tomorrow but the nurse doubts it will happen because my back is just too inflamed :sad2:
I just want it all over and done with, think i've been through enough without all of this on top,
i'm just so fed-up with all of it now., no driving , no xmas shopping, etc etc
sorry had my moan now-:headache:

oh Netty that sounds so painful, hope the swelling goes down soon so you can have the stitches out. Sending you a big:hug: and tons of :wizard: :wizard: :wizard:

OMG Jeanette, you poor thing, it sounds awful. I really hope you start to make a good recovery soon - take care

Jeanette, hon, I am so sorry to hear about the problems with your stitches - it sounds horrible. I sort of know how you feel - I had to have an op back in 2005 and one of the stitches became embedded near where I'd had a drain. OMG the agony as the doc repeatedly tried to remove it! How I didn't punch someone I'll never know... So I feel for you.   Hopefully the anti-bs will kick in and the inflammation will subside... Best wishes... :goodvibes

hi
i also feel for you after my c section i hd one of those running stiches wires with the bead in it at either end, had been done so tight was agony getting it out, had gas and air in the end when the 3rd person tried to do it.
hope its sorted soon :grouphug:

oough!

I'm sorry you are having even more hassle with this!

hopefully they will leave me alone today and leave it all to settle down for a few days-fingers crossed its just a dressing change.
