I asked this same question a few weeks ago and was told that weekend is very busy but I did not get attendence records. That would be interesting to know.
ok so if I express pass then I don't have to wait right? Does it work like WDW fast passs sytem because if so that is what I will do. I have 5 days planned to do universal with the Friday after Thanksgiving being the last park day. So we will have Mon thru Thursday to do Universal. I should be ok no?

You go to the machine that gives out the passes for the attraction you want. Some attractions have their own express machines, others share.
Scan/swipe your ticket. Choose the attraction (if it has more than one), then choose the time you want. There is an early and later time to choose from, so you can plan around that. Also, when it prints the ticket, the computer will tell you when you can get your next express pass (1-2 hrs later).
When you use the express pass, you will have to wait in the Express line. Express lines are rarely more than 15-20 mins. Just make sure you return sometime between the times listed. If you're a little late (up to 30 mins), you're fine. If you try much later (1hr after it expires, for example), it will not be valid.
