Thanksgiving ?

Are all of the restaurants open on Thanksgiving Day? Even the Downtown Disney restaurants?

Yes. Everything is open on Thanksgiving.

However, realize that a lot of restaurants will have a special menu in place for that one day. And holiday pricing will be in effect for the buffets.

Thanks for the help. Anyone have suggestions on where to eat? We're staying at AKL arriving Thanksgiving day around 3:00 PM

Boma would be the ideal place. Right at your resort so you don't have to go anywhere.

The prices from last year - $30.99 for adults, $14.99 for kids under ten. It's the buffet with holiday offerings also available (a few years ago, they had turkey instead of the chicken).

I would definately go for Boma since you are staying at AKL. It's the best quality buffet at WDW IMHO & for Thanksgiving I'll bet it would be even better!!

You could have a very relaxed evening without having to travel on those crowded buses. They do lots of nice nighttime activities at AKL too for after dinner.

We too are going over Thanksgiving. I have been on the lookout for a 2008 list of restaurants and their choices for dinner. I keep checking to see if hours for Nov. have come out yet...but nothing either. Anyone see a new 2008 list of restaurant offerings for Thanksgiving and prices?
