Thanksgiving Whispering Canyon or Trails End

I have been to trails end on a regular night but not for a holiday. We have never been to whispering canyon. Anybody been there for Thanksgiving? I read a review that on Thanksgiving they really weren't in character and just rushed you out. If that is the case I might just go on a regular day.

We've been to trails end on thanksgiving. They had a great feast! Not sure if you have a Disney visa but it's one of the restaurants you get a discount.

We haven't been to WCC but 4 years ago we did TE for Thanksgiving Dinner. We had a late afternoon ADR and arrived a little early and it took us almost an hour to get seated. Then they ran out of things and did not replace them while we were there. It might have improved since then. We did Boma at AKL last Thanksgiving around the same time and it was a great experience. We were seated right away and they had a nice variety of Thanksgiving food plus their regular African food.

We had dinner at Trails End for thanksgiving two years ago, and really enjoyed it. Wasn't super busy. They had all the traditional Thanksgiving food, and so much more. Reasonably priced too!

We ate there in 2014 too and we were generally happy with it. They had turkey and ham with the trimmings, pumpkin pie added for dessert.

They did take away a few things on the buffet though - no pizza, or mac and cheese, which is bad for kids who aren't into the whole turkey thing.

We ate around 5:30. It was packed but we had great service and a very nice meal.

We were going to do it again this year, but we added another person onto our trip, so we needed a reservation for 5, and we couldn't get that.

We ate at Trails End on Christmas day 2010 and afterwards walked around the campground. We loved it!!
