It is pretty much a tradition for us to go for a walk, and then head to Meijer and Walmart for the Thanksgiving Day sales. Afterwards, when family has gone home, DH and I put the Christmas tree up, along with the lights and other decorations.

Really, if we are at someone elses house, we just go home. If its at our house, we wait for everyone to leave so we can RELAX!

It'll just be me and DH since we're not going home for the holidays. After Thanksgiving dinner we'll break out some board games (Life, Monopoly, etc.) and have some pumpkin pie!

At my MIL's we always play Bingo after Thanksgiving dinner. She always gets really cool prizes for the adults and kids......gift cards for the adults, and candy/ little toys for the kids. We always have so much doing this. But some years I never hit a bingo!

Complain that I shouldn't have had that second slice of pie. :confused3

We head out to the movies if we can get tickets--one of the busiest movie nights of the year

I usually go to sleep for about an hour.

Then, once I wake up it'll be about 4ish and it'll be time for dessert. At about 6:30 I head out to my friends house and have dinner with his family. After dinner there we go to the movies!

We play games as a family. We like card games like Euchre and Satisfied and Dominoes. The kids play Spoons. It's my favorite part of Thanksgiving, second to watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

This year, depending on when my guests leave I may also have to walk 4 miles in training for the WDW 1/2 Marathon in January.

Usually complaining that I ate too much. Be in the bathroom for the rest of the day.

This year recover from the pneumonia.

We usually just relax at home and watch a movie.

Honestly I would like to go to bed since I have to be at work at 3am on Friday for all the crazy shoppers :) My tday is only about 26 hours long from the time I get home on Thursday morning until I go back Friday morning. I just chill and try to rest for the big day. Thank Goodness we only do this once a year :)

My name is Dayna and I am a crazy shopper.
;)
I am also usually up at 3AM but not to go to work... and this year I need to buy most of the stuff on BF since money isn't in abundance this year... maybe it's all the WDW trips I stupidly booked this year :sad2::rotfl:

We usually clean up and wait for our tummies to settle beofre dessert. Usually at least one person falls asleep.

Since we eat early afternoon, a few folks usually take a walk. I relax after running around fixing stuff for the meal.

Now on Friday - no shopping for me. I'm going to the Walt Disney Museum - can't wait!

We usually just chill out and watch Home Alone.

Sometimes read the ads for Friday shopping, but my dad is working and my mom has to go in and do payroll, so it won't be a fun year. :(

I have some projects due that next week that I'll be working on most likely.

Well, since you feel it necessary to go shopping on a big holiday like Thanksgiving, I don't do anything after dinner because I am all by myself. My wife is forced to work because it's all about the buck and the few people who will show up in the stores on a holiday instead of my wife being able to be at home with her family.

Bitter much?

can't really feel sorry for you....I work for a commuter railway and had to work my first 11 Thanksgivings, Christmas's and New Years Eves and Days on the job....when you take a job in retail or public transportation you know what you are getting yourself in for!
We go bowling or roller skating in the morning too on Thanksgiving-so those people are working too!
