Which week is more busy?
Are the Holiday decorations up at Thanksgiving?
Any other words of advice?
Thanks!

Lucy - We've only been Pres Weekend. But I would do again in a heartbeat. Sure there are crowds, but very do-able. Have heard horror stories of T-giving and would stay far away from if possible. Enjoy whatever you do.

Yes they Holiday Decorations are up for Thanksgiving. And yes it tends to be a little bit more crowded for T-day too. If you had to choose between the 2 and x-mas deco wasnt a priority then go Pres Day.

Up until this year, Thanksgiving has been condsidered Value season, while Presidents Day weekend jumps to PEAK season. So it sounds to me like Prez weekend will be much more crowded. This Thanksgiving will by my 3rd trip on turkey day to WDW. Although it is way more crowded than the January crowds we dont have have every year.. hehe.. I still found it to be ok. I think I go at Thanksgiving EXPECTING mass crowds, and its just not that bad. I also followed Tour Guide Mikes advice on what days to visit the parks over the weekend, and was pleasantly surprised to find the crowds werent bad at all.

I will be going down over Presidents Day Weekend this coming february. My girls are going to be competing in "Twirl Manina" which is held over that weekend from Friday-Monday. I will then be able to compare the 2 holidays! But Im expecting February to worse!!

Going at Thanksgiving is even more magical with all of the holiday decorations up. You can do the MVMCP, see the story tellers in Epcot, the Osbourne Lights in MGM, the parades all take a Christmasy theme, the characters are dressed up for winter. Its a great time to go.

and let me tell you I would absolutely, without a doubt pick Thanksgiving. President's week is INSANE crowded. Worse than I've ever experienced even during July 4th. I think the entire Northeastern part of the country was there because schools were out for "winter break." I had never heard of such a thing. One day we sat at the Concourse Steakhouse for breakfast and watched the monorails go by and every last one of them was standing room only with people pressed up against the glass.

We've gone during Thanksgiving 3x and LOVED it. It's really not that crowded, I would call it moderate crowds. The decorations are up by Thanksgiving day at the latest...and if you haven't seen WDW decorated for the Holidays, you're missing someting.
