We are considering a trip to WDW for the week of Thanksgiving in 2009. I am having a hard time determining what the crowds will be like. I am guessing the crowds will be heavy from Thanksgiving Day into the weekend. How about earlier in the week?

The research I have done on line ranges from it will be slow to completely crowded. I am most interested in hearing from folks that have actually been to WDW that week. Is it worth still going? How much of the Christmas decorations will be up?

We have gone this week twice. The first time was 2 years ago and from Sunday to Tuesday morning it was fine. It started getting crowded that afternoon. We went to Epcot that Wed. and it was very crowded. Did MK for TG and it was very crowded. We also went this year and it was not bad at all. We always go Sunday through Friday and we did almost everything we wanted to do. Get there early and make the best use of fastpasses. We did MK for TG again this year and it was no where near as crowded as before--it was crowded but not bad.

We went 2007 Thanksgiving week and it was miserable beginning Tuesday. Sunday when we arrived it was nice and Monday too.

We waited in line for It's a small world over an hour during that week. I wouldn't have done it but we were with friends who had never been to DW.
