Thanksgiving weather

What is the weather in late November, early December? Are my kids going to freeze at the pool?

Just depends. We go every T'giving and there have been trips where we wore tanks and shorts, were hot and came home sunburned and then there have been trips where we dressed in layers and nearly froze. It's just a crap shoot that time of year.

Really, it's still "fall" in Orlando just after Thanksgiving (there's actually some color on the trees that eventually do lose their leaves!). Although a cool day or two is possible then, it's much less likely than in January. On average, high temps are still in the MID-70s, and frequently top out near 80. So, swimming weather is likely, though not assured.

We were there for last Thanksgiving through to first week in December. Our 2 DD were in the pool every afternoon. The weather was rather warm but I think it was more the humidity.

We wore shorts for the entire stay.

I went during Thanksgiving week of 2006, and we were completely unprepared for the cold weather. I bought a hat, gloves, and had to layer sweatshirts to keep from shivering.

The weather varies on Thanksgiving Day at WDW from year to year - one year I was rained on, I one year I was sunburned, and one year I almost froze to death.
