We just made last minute arrangements to go to Orlando for Thanksgiving weekend. We are staying at Universal's Royal Pacific Thanksgiving night then moving to the Peabody for 2 nights. Thanksgiving Dinner will be the Hard Rock's Kitchen mid-afternoon. The kids and I wiil be going to Universal early (9) and DW's annual pass expired the day before yesterday but she doesn't want to go to the theme park anyway. She wants to shop. I know that the day after Tday has all kinds of promos where stores open early and fools stand in line for such items as the infamous "Tickle Me Elmo". Does anything open early on Thanksgiving near USO where we could drop off DW at or around 9? Belz Outlet? She said that she would even be willing to shop the 24 hour Super Walmart but that is quite a ways away and traffic is terrible on Sandlake. Any ideas?

I would assume by 9am all the stores will be open. Most are opening at 5 and 6am including the malls and such.

Everyone opens early on Friday. Festival Bay opens at 10 but all of the Belz Outlets are closed. Today's newspaper has a KMart add that says they are open tomorrow at 7 and my son reminded me of the KMart on Turkey Lake near Sandlake. That will be perfect. I couldn't shop for 3 or 4 hours there though.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I assume you mean Thursday (Thanksgiving day itself). According to this morning's paper, Festival Bay (next to the old Belz, now "Prime", outlets) opens at 10 a.m. (with Bass Pro Shop opening at 8, in case your DW is outdoorsy).

According to their website Belz/Prime is closed. Premium Outlets, over on Vineland, are also open at 10, but that is a bit further from Universal.

Yep, tomorrow. I could probably waste a few hours in the Bass Pro Shop but she''l likely lean towards KMart.

I misread the OP's question-- I thought you were inquiring about the day after. So, my answers are definetly wrong-- sorry.
