Do any of you Disers know if there is a restaurant in/near DLR that serves a Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving? This is the first time I will not be home for Thanksgiving and will miss the turkey, etc. I would really like to have a turkey meal while in DLR next week. Thanks :sunny:

Storyteller's Cafe
Goofy's Kitchen
PCH Grill
Catal
Napa Rose
Disneyland Hotel Grand Ballroom
Mimi's Cafe near the Fairfield Marriott & Hojo's looks really good, and it's about half the cost of the cheaper DLR options... I'm considering checking to see if they have any tables still available instead of Storyteller's, but I haven't even called them yet.

Wow! Thanks for the wonderful responses. Guess I will have to see if I can get PS or wing it :)

We ate at the PCH Grill last Thanksgiving. They offered a buffet with a traditional thanksgiving feast and some extras. It was good, but nothing spectacular. We stayed at the Anaheim Hilton and their Thanksgiving buffet looked much better. I would try to get PS at Goofy's Kitchen- maybe there will be a cancellation? Good luck! :sunny:

If you're thinking Mimis, I would call them now. I procrastinated and called our local one yesterday and they were booked....so I tried to order the take home meal, and that was sold out :(

I'm going to: Disneyland Hotel Grand Ballroom. . .
Is our first time in Disneyland for Thanksgiving. . we went last year to WDW, but went to a friends house for dinner!!

:sad1: Just got off the phone with Disney Dining and they have all the buffets fully booked. So I booked the Jazz Kitchen instead, she said they were having a Thanksgiving dish or meal or something so hopefully it will be good. I've never eaten there...is it good? :confused3 Thanks for the wonderful suggestions, but my planning skills for this trip are very sorry and sad.

I planned for about 8 months for my WDW trip over the summer but didn't really do much planning for this my 10th DLR trip...Oh well. I still love DLR

Good :cheer2: I was hoping to hear something good about it, as it was one of the only choices I had...Now I'm excited about eating there. :jumping1: Thanks for your post. :thanks:

I know it's too late now, but we had reservations at the Blue Bayou for Thanksgiving. The person at the reservation number I called said they don't do anything different for T-day. But, when we got there, they did! They said they do every year.

DH got it and it was very good! They took the ribs off the menu in place of it.

Hi to all!! Just to let you all know that we went to the Thanksgiving Feast (or how it is called) at Disneyland Hotel and it was WONDERFUL!

I think WDW should make something like this... They told me they do this kind of feasts for mothers day, easter, christmas, etc. . .

Ok...here is my report from Thanksgiving at the Jazz Kitchen. It was absolutely, fantastically delicious! We loved it and I'm really glad we ate there. I had chicken and DH had turducken. It was yummy. They had a special T-day menu, which is where the turducken came from, that was very yummy. If anyone has the chance to eat at the Jazz kitchen...DO IT!!! :woohoo:
