I know it's early but does anyone have any recommendations for Thanksgiving dinner.

Planning a trip & want to start planning that meal.

Thanks

I'm sure alot of diser's will say LTT at MK but, MK is just too crowded on any holiday. We suggest WCC at the Wilderness Lodge. All I can say is yummmm..:cool1:
The atmosphere is perfect..away from the parks but still immersed in the Disney Magic!
Don't be silly it is never to early to talk food especially dining at Disney!

We spent the day in Epcot and then took a boat over to the Swan for Thanksgiving dinner and then went back to Epcot for the evening. The dinner at the Swan was fantastic and I would definately go again.
Good luck with your plans,
Lucy

Ohhhh!! I am staying at the Swan, what restaurant had the dinner & I am assumming it was a Thanksgiving menu?

Also, how far in advance did you have to make reservations?

Thanks for all your suggestions!!!

It was a couple years ago but its the restaurant that is at the very end when you are walking down the wing of restaurants (if that makes sense to you). It might be called Gullivers Grill? It did have a Thanksgiving buffet. We made the reservations when we got to FL but it seems like reservations have gotten harder to get over the years so I would make them in advance to do it again.
Good luck,
Lucy

We were in WDW over Thanksgiving week this past year. We did the Hoop Dee Doo Review on Thanksgiving and absolutely loved it. They do not have the traditional thanksgiving meal, it's the same meal that HDDR always has. But I'm really the only one in my family who loves the traditional thanksgiving meal anyway, so that wasn't a problem. My ds8 said it was the best thanksgiving he's ever had (he loved the fried chicken). And it was great, because there was no wait, since it is a show, they had to seat you on time. I'm going to be so sad this year on thanksgiving since we won't be there.

Thanks everyone, I would love to hear more suggestions!! please keep them coming!

We have done Hoop Dee Do on Thanksgiving(got a sweet potato pie along with the strawberry shortcake, dessert overload;) ). This year we did House of Blues and saw the Cirque show.

I would definately not go into MK on Thanksgiving. All restaurants offer Turkey dinners that day(including HOB, but we ordered off the regular menu).

We ate at Le Cellier this past Thanksgiving and it was great. They had the usual menu items plus a Thanksgiving meal if you wanted that. The pumpkin creme brulee was awesome!

Thanks!

I will definitely follow the suggestion of not going to MK that day! Has anyone ever dined at California Grill? I never have & I thought that might be a godd place o try on a special day.

We've been to California Grill, and it was great! DH doesn't want to take the kids there though, so we won't be eating there for Thanksgiving dinner anytime soon.

We'll be at WDW for Thanksgiving 2008, and I'm interested in suggestions also!!

Thanksgiving day this year we enjoyed WCC in the Wilderness Lodge. A very traditional Thanksgiving dinner with the best smoked Turkey I have every had and the best meal I have ever eaten at WCC. We chose it because our flight was later and we wanted to eat in the hotel. I would choose it again in a minute.
