Thanksgiving in the world????

Forgive me if this has already been asked a billion times

I know about MVMCP, but do any of the parks or resorts do anything special specifically on Thanksgiving?? After a pretty disastrous dinner this year, I'm hoping to get away for the holiday next year, and of course WDW was one of the first places I thought of

We've been to several parks today (Thanksgiving day) and didn't see anything specific to Thanskgiving, other than special meals. But, its still a magical time!

It seems that other than serving "traditional Thanksgiving meals" at most sit down and a few counter service restaurants, they don't do anything special for Thanksgiving. The good news is nearly all of the decorations are up. Some of the extra special things (Osborne Lights at MGM, Tree Lighting Ceremony at Epcot, Candlelight Processional at Epcot, MVMCP at MK) do not start until the week after Thanksgiving.

The Osborne Lights may have started earlier this year. We saw them the day before Thanksgiving and they were amazing!

Seems like Disney jumps pretty quickly from Halloween to Christmas! We did not notice anything special in MK on Thursday. We enjoyed a nice Turkey dinner at the Contemporary! I was NOT cooking for two!

I was in Epcot on Thanksgiving and there was nothing special for Thanksgiving.

Nothing special for Thanlsgiving but everything related to Christmas starts the next day. The decorations (including the Osborne lights) are up but things like the tree lighting and the storytellers and the special Illuminations start the day after Thanksgiving. To me, that's really the start of the Christmas season.
