Has anyone been to DL on Thanksgiving Day? My roommate and I have annual passes and live in Los Angeles but our families are both in other states and we're not planning on going home for Thanksgiving. We've only lived here a little over a year and are trying to find something fun to do on Thanksgiving. Would it be completely insane to go to DL that day? We were there on July 17th, May 5th, and New Years Eve so we're not afraid of crowds. We're not particularly fond of them, but we can deal. Does anyone know if Thanksgivng would be better or worse than those days? Also, do restaurants serves special Thanksgiving dinners? Thanks!

2 years ago my college roommate and I went. We weren't going to be able to spend it with our families so we decided it was the next best place to be! It was crowded, but if you get there at opening you can get quite a bit done. We had our feast at Goofy's Kitchen which was a lot of fun. I was suprised by how uncrowded that was! I have no idea what the nighttime situation will be though. We managed to watch the fireworks with just a 1 hour wait time, but with the new show, I'm sure it will be a madhouse that day! My hubby and I went last week, and we had to wait over 2 hours on a non holiday night!
