How much time would you allot for Boma & Cape May? Is it realistic that we could be in & out in a little over an hour? We'll be at Boma on Thanksgiving & Cape May on the weekend.

Thanks!

I think so. That's the great thing about buffets - you bypass the whole ordering/waiting for your meal part and for the most part you can control how long you are there. If they are really booked for the holiday, the CMs are probably going to be looking to turn the table faster.

Once you get into the restaurant you can serve yourself and be out as quickly as you choose. What you can't control is how quickly you will be seated. If your ADR is early, you should get in quickly. But if your time is in at the most popular times, you may have a wait.

You pay a lot for the food and the experience at WDW restaurants. IMO you should never rush.

On Thanksgiving day, I think you need to plan for some wait time. Most restaurants seem to get backed up and you most likely will be seated past your ADR time.

Plus you may have to wait while they continually replenish the buffet.

I agree; especially on T-giving day, I would think you could dash in and out of anywhere in Disney.

We ate at 1900 Park Fare last year on Thanksgiving, and waited 20 minutes to be seated. The meal took an hour on top of that. However, the day after Thanksgiving, we ate at Cape May Cafe and had no wait at all, and that meal took a little over an hour because the food was so good that we kept going up to get more! And the night after that, Saturday, we ate at Boma, with a 5 minute wait after arriving 5 minutes late, and that meal took about 45 minutes because we didn't really care for the food.

I'd say 60-75 minutes for a leisurely meal. If you wanted it to end sooner you could.:earsboy:

At Thanksgiving?

Two hours (and that includes your wait time).

I've been there during the holidays. On Xmas morning, we had breakfast at 'Ohana's & we had Xmas dinner at Chef Mickey's. :santa:

I am sure we were at Chef Mickey's (buffet) for about 2 hours.
