Thanksgiving Hours?

I was looking at the November hours for this year and I couldn't believe the hours for Thanksgiving & Thanksgiving weekend:

Universal: 9-7
IOA: 9-8 or 9

Is this right or do they extend them the closer it gets to November??

Were not going to be there until Thanksgiving 2005, but I thought they would be open unitl at least 10 or 11pm.

Are they not crowded on Thanksgiving??

Has anyone been during this time that can verify they are open later.

Those are typical Thanksgiving hours, I believe.

Thanksgiving is a great day to visit, while the weekend is quite busy. But, if you tour the parks correctly, you'll have no problem seeing it all.

I *loved* going Thanksgiving Day last year, and therefore my parents and I have turned this into a new ritual...Thanksgiving at Universal! The crowds were not that crowded, so the day was very pleasant. I don't know about the weekend, but I would imagine they would be much more crowded.

Well we will be staying on-site anyway so I guess the hours shouldn't bother me too much, but I just was a little shocked they close so early for a holiday.

We will be there on Thanksgiving & the Friday after, then we leave for our Disney Cruise. So I'm glad to hear Thanksgiving day won't be too bad & with FOTL we should be able to get everything done in 2 days.

Do you have any suggestions on where we should eat Thanksgiving Dinner !

If I remember correctly, Confisco's in IOA served a Thanksgiving dinner...we didn't try it, because we didn't learn about it until too late. Not sure if they will have it this year or not, but be on the look-out...or you can always buy a turkey leg...

We went to Universal in early November last year and that was the time the parks close. During the fall/winter they close earlier than in the summer.
