Thanksgiving Dinner

We are arriving at The Dolphin on Thanksgiving. Our flight lands around 430. Initially had a thought about going to Big River Grille for a quick low key dinner since i thought about coordinating a grocery delivery, but i keep forgetting its THANKSGIVING! Nothing would be open for a grocery delivery and it's our first time ever being away from our family for the holiday. Any ideas on what places may have a good traditional Turkey Day meal? My next choice will be Shula's for a delicious steak...

We do have extra passes so if we wanted to burn a day strictly for a reservation on our arrival day, we totally could.

No specific recommendations but rather than settle for what will most likely be a mediocre turkey dinner, I'd go for somewhere they serve a really good version of a dish. Shula's would be a good example of that

A lot of grocery stores will be open on Thanksgiving, but may have shorter hours. I would also expect that a few of the restaurants inside swolphin will be offering a traditional turkey meal. I know most of Disney resorts offer a traditional turkey meal.

If you have extra passes and can get a reservation for Liberty Tree Tavern, that would be a good option (though it's probably a hard reservation to get on Thanksgiving).

One thing to consider there could be a flight delay and you might not arrive as early as you think I would not make a dinner ADR. In the past a lot of resorts were offering some type of quick service Thanksgiving food.

This is true - i was going to book Big River Grille for 730 just in case.

A lot of the resort restaurants will have traditional Thanksgiving food on the menu just for Thanksgiving. One year we checked into Coronado Springs on Thanksgiving day. The food court there had a station dedicated to all the traditional Thanksgiving foods. It was super yummy and so great that the ones in our party could eat that offering while others opted for pizza!
