Thanksgiving Dinner

So I'm trying to convince my boyfriend to go to Disney for Thanksgiving. We don't really have plans for it at home this year and I'm not really excited about cooking a turkey for the first time. He wants the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. Are there restaurants that serve a special meal for this? Are the places that serve it really hard to get since it's pretty close to the date? I looked online and there are a ton of dinner reservations still available across the parks and restaurants. I personally am not a fan of the food besides the turkey and could go without, but I know he'll say no to the trip if I can't find somewhere to go that'll have his Thanksgiving dinner. What restaurants would be my best option?

There are a lot of choices, though this late in the game, some ADRs might be hard to get.

Come November 23, 2017, treat your tastes—along with family and friends—to a cornicopious feast, available at the following Disney dining locations:

Maybe try the American Pavillion food booth at Epcot Holiday Festival? While there are quite a few options for dinner that night on MDE, I don't know how many will have traditional meals.

We decided to skip the entire issue and just have a late breakfast buffet and snacks in the evening.

Thanks! I'll have to see if there's availability at any of these.

I know he's going to want a sit down meal for dinner. If I can't find one he's going to say no to the trip.

There was one available for Jiko at 7:40 so I grabbed it. It's a bit late though so convincing him with this might be difficult. But at least I have a restaurant that will have his traditional meal so I can work off this to convince him into booking a trip. :)

Raglan road in Disney Springs also has a turkey dinner option for Thanksgiving. It’s on their menu at the very bottom. We chose to get a reservation here because husband and I want turkey but children do not.

Does the garden grove at the swan have a thanksgiving meal?
YES! We've done Thanksgiving there once and it was wonderful! Highly recommend.

We also did Thanksgiving last year at Boma - it was awesome. A mix of traditional Thanksgiving food and normal Boma food. A happy medium.

We'd be going again this year but our baby is due the week before... I LOVE Disney at Thanksgiving!

We would like to do a Thanksgiving trip in the next couple of years. I always figured the best place to eat would be Liberty Tree Tavern, but it's not mentioned here. Am I missing something?

I told my boyfriend about the buffet dinner and he seems really interested. Fingers crossed he'll say yes to the trip now

Congrats on your baby!

I'm glad you recommend it, I think having this reservation will get my boyfriend to say yes to the trip

Does anyone know, if Sanaa is offering a traditional Thanksgiving dinner as well, besides their regular menu? I thought I read that somewhere?

Thank you for any info!

We love Boma for Thanksgiving as well!

Are there restaurants that serve a special meal for this?

1) There are very few table service eateries at WDW that do not have traditional offerings at Thanksgiving.
2) Tell us where you will be and we can give you a better list.

I'm not sure yet where we will be staying. I have to get my boyfriend to agree first before I book anywhere

I would absolutely recommend Liberty Tree Tavern in the Magic Kingdom. This is a must do restaurant for my family and I and it also offers a great and traditional thanksgiving meal! I would also recommend lunch time if you are looking for some variety. The lunch menu offer the Patriots Platter, which is the traditional thanksgiving meal of turkey, pot roast, pork roast, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans, etc. the menu also offers other regular dishes to choose from if you'd rather have something different. The food has always been consistently good and you really can't go wrong with this choice! The restaurant and the food truly offer the feeling of thanksgiving at home!

50's Prime Time Diner has a traditional Thanksgiving meal as the blue plate special and it kind of has that feeling of being at your parents for the meal.

I had read that Trails End usually does a Thanksgiving meal. We were late on planning this trip so I just started looking for reservations today. Anyone know if Trail's End has dinner this year? If not, we'll be ordering from Whole Foods or Publix. Thanks.

We were there last year for Thanksgiving week. ASMu had a turkey meal every night. I love turkey and I had a turkey dinner every night. Thanksgving night the dinner came with more trimmings and pie. We spent the day at US.
