We're going to be in DL on Thanksgiving (Me, my wife and 11 yo daughter)and are looking for ideas for dinner. Not looking for anything too special, however would like more than just counter service or basic table service.

Any suggestions? Do you think I would need to make ADRs?

Yes you would definitely need ADR's and at this point you might be hard pressed to find anything for Thanksgiving! ADR's start at 60 days out and Thanksgiving is a popular time. The dinner at the DLH has been sold out for a while. If you want to eat anywhere like Blue Bayou, Carthay Circle or places in DTD you should check asap for availability!

Don't forget to check for availability at the restaurants in DtD. I think the Jazz Kitchen may be fully committed at this point, but the other places (e.g. Catal, UVA Bar, Tortilla Jo's) may have openings. I've been told that hotel dining for DLR is sold out at this point.

The Parks Blog had a posting about what would be served at some locations on Thanksgiving Day back when ADRs opened in late September.

That being said, as others have noted, there aren't a lot of reservations available on Disneyland.com, but it's worth checking frequently to see if anything opens.

You can also check OpenTable to see if any of the DTD locations have availability:
