I know this has been asked before, but I haven't seen any answers yet. I know Thanksgiving is months away, but being a compulsive planner, I am trying to plan where we should eat. Does anybody have any suggestions for where to have Thanksgiving dinner while at Disney? Any info. would be greatly appreciated. We are staying at the BWV, so I could cook, but that is just way too much work on vacation!!

Thanks!

The #1 place to have a Thanksgiving Dinner is the Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom (Frontierland) - it comes with all the fixings and is enjoyed as part of a character meal so the kids will enjoy it all the more. We have gone there twice before and we love the turkey dinner.

I believe (not positive) that you can get turkey dinners at the 50s Prime Time Cafe in Disney/MGM; they offer old fashioned meals and I believe that was on the menu (check when you call WDW for reservations). The food was good and the atmosphere was incredible (the restaurant is like a 1950s studio set with theold fashioned chairs and tables).

Hope this helps - good luck!

I have been fortunate enough to have Thanks dinner at several of the restaurants. All the resort & park restaurants will serve the traditional Thanks dinner, with the exception of the WS restaurants. We love Yachtsmans St, Boatwrights and Brown Derby for this meal, they have all been good.

Thanks for the info! Sounds like we have a lot of options. Now, I just have to decide where to eat! Decisions, decisions...

Thanks again!

My family and I just spent our first Thanksgiving at WDW this past November. We had T-Giving dinner at the Brown Derby @ MGM and then headed over to the Osborne Lights. What was apparent to us during dinner was that it did not feel like Thanksgiving. There is some give and take here when eating a Thanksgiving meal, and expectations must be set in advance. My wife and I both had the Turkey platter, and it was very good. However, I was not used to not being able to reach over for a second helping of turkey or stuffing. You finish the plate and that's that! So, even though we were in the place where we love to be at while on vacation, we left the Brown Derby missing a little something on Thanksgiving Day that was hard to explain as a first timer.

I would definitely try the LTT, although it has been posted that all the PS's are gone within minutes of the time when reservations can be accepted. The LTT would probably get us over the atmosphere and the helpings of food that we missed at the Brown Derby. Since you're staying at BWV, I've heard that the dinner buffet at the Swan is very good for Thanksgiving. I guess that people will differ when it comes to tradition and their preferences for holiday meals. Some people are just as happy gnawing on a Turkey leg for Thanksgiving dinner while walking the park, and I applaud them for their love of WDW. To me it boils down to what your family prefers, and how much tradition you want to get involved in, especially when the parks are open late during this holiday. If I had to do it all over again, I would probably opt for a late dinner at Artist Point at the WL.
