Anyone have a favorite place, tradition, or great experience for Thanksgiving at any of the parks

I have never been to Disney for Thanksgiving, but if you are looking for a traditional Turkey Dinner, Liberty Tree Tavern is a great option.

Well, I hate turkey and never have it at Thanksgiving at home, so I guess traditional doesnt matter that much ;)

We are going to eat at Boma that night.....I would say it has mixed reviews but I've read some nice reviews from Thanksgiving there. Something different.....for us anyway :). Last I checked they still had a couple availabilities.

Neat :)....Later or early? We will be there I think at 7:30. We are considering going early and exploring AKL...

Early. We're eating at 5:00 and then hoping to go to Epcot to see a bit of WS and to see Illuminations.

If you hate traditional, then DON"T go to 'Ohana on Thanksgiving. They serve the turkey/all the fixens rather than their normal menu.

We have a 6:10 reservation for Boma Thanksgiving night. Since Thanksgiving is my least favorite holiday, I wanted something far from tradtional.

We always arrive on Thanksgiving day and avoid Mk. Our tradition is to eat at Cape May (seafood and traditional Thanksgiving fare) and then head over to DHS for Osbourne Lights and Fantasmic

Now let me first say Cal Grill is one of our top 5 places to eat on a regular basis. . .

Now we had TG day dinner there 4 years ago and it sucked. The servers and cooks were a skeleton crew and it just wasn't good. Our food came out cold. The server was just not good and the food was deff not Cal Grill level.

This year we are doing Narcoossee's with the hope that there is the regular menu like Allears states. We just want a normal night for TG night. I am also hopeing that since it's the regular menu that means regular chef and cooking staff.

This is all guessing since it's our first time for TG at Narcoossee's vs the Cal Grill from a few years back.

Anyone, know anything about Narcoossee's in the past for TG?

We have eaten at CRT, Liberty tree, kouzzinas, Boatwrights, mickey's back yard BBQ, Trails end, and Chef mickey's for thanksgivings. (We have gone that week for the last 13 years)

I can tell you that all of the above do some sort of traditional Thanksgiving diner. Kouzzina's still has the normal menu though.

When you call ask what the menu for that day is. It can change year to year. Two years ago Kouzzina's had a normal menu and last year it was a Thanksgiving menu.

you are looking to stray just a little from traditional, Rag,an Road will serve turkey and sides with an Irish twist.

We went to Chef Mickeys for Thanksgiving dinner last year. In addition to the regular buffet menu, they did have Turkey and other traditional sides, also some little pumpkin desserts, etc. But...they ran out of turkey for a good 20 minutes...glad I took some when I first got there. Not sure what they were thinking...that turkey wasn't going to be a big thing on Thanksgiving?
