Where have you eaten for Thanksgiving Dinner? Would you recommend it? What was the food like? We are a family of three -- 2 adults and one 8 year old. Price isn't an issue but California Grill type of atomosphere not an option for us.

This year we ate at the Liberty Tree Tavern and we enjoyed the meal, but
I would definately never eat in a park again for a holiday, it was shoulder to
shoulder, My kids had originally asked to go to Chef Mickeys, but I chose
Liberty Tree because of it's traditional Thanksgiving feel. Next time I
will go with Chef Mickeys just to avoid going into MK.

My Dh and I had Thanksgiving dinner at the Brown Derby (they had a great traditional turkey dinner). We did the Fantasmic Package so we had seats for Fantasmic. MGM was not as busy as I thought it would be (and we really didn't need to do the Fantasmic Package to get seats for the early Fantasmic.)

We had a late lunch (3:00) at the Garden Grill. They served traditional Thanksgiving food and it was very good. I would highly recommend it.

In 2004 we ate at the Whispering Canyon Cafe at the WL. It was cute and fun and the food was the normal Thanksgiving meal. The special thing about it was that we had a horse drawn carriage ride scheduled for after our meal. We hung out at the WL - looked in the shops, rented a surrey bike, visited the petting zoo after our meal and then took the carriage ride at the WL. It was perfect.

This year we ate a late lunch at the Brown Derby. We chose steaks that were delicious. We spent a fun day at MGM.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe. It was a great ambiance for Thanksgiving and the food was delicious. They offered a traditional turkey dinner, but I think only one of us ordered it! They also had a great pumpkin pie for dessert. This wasn't my first choice for Thanksgiving dinner, but reservations book up FAST!
