We will be spending Thanksgiving at WDW this year. What are some good options for dinner? There will be 12 of us. My sister doesn't like buffets :confused3 so I was thinking something that was served all you care to eat family-style.
Thanks for any help!! :thumbsup2

we had a wonderful dinner at Liberty tree tavern in the magic Kingdon. Whhat a great place to celebrate Thanksgiving. I'm sure reserv. go fast for this place:

Sounds like O'Hana might be a good choice for you. it is family style and a nice atmosphere.

Thanks! :thumbsup2 That is probably one of our top choices but I'm also thinking we might want to avoid MK all together on T-day because of the crowds. :confused3

My dh and I did O'hana for dinner in January and LOVED it. Does anyone know if they change the menu for Thanksgiving Day? I don't know if I can get by without my mashed potatoes/gravy and stuffing! :)

I think All Ears posts what restaurants do something special for Thanksgiving. We've been twice and ate once at Kona (great) and once at Wolfgang Puck Express (dry, dry turkey). I suspect that O'Hana would add some of the traditional fixings.

Whispering Canyon Cafe had a nice family style meal last year. Also, WL is beutifully decorated at that time of year.

We ate at Ohana last year for Tday, it was really good. Turkey(white and dark) reg and sweet mashed potatoes, green beans, salad, bread stuffing and gravy. The also had their regular salad and desert. We will probably go back this year. With our kids, Ohana is really easy for us. I have a pic, let me find it.

:worship: Thank you so much for that picture. It looks yummy! Do you happen to remember if the children can order something different? My 4 year old son is extremely picky! :sad2:

I'm not sure on T-day. Earlier in the week they brought my little one nuggets and fries, but on Thanksgiving he ate plain mashed potatoes and ice cream:sad2:. Sorry that was no help, but you could always just get him some mashed potatoes before they put it in the pan with everything else and maybe the same with turkey no gravy.

Thanks for the post. :goodvibes If you could set me straight, was the dessert their bread pudding or was it pumpkin bread pudding? I had remembered reading that somewhere.:thumbsup2
Thanks

From browsing various threads on this topic (we too are going over Thanksgiving) it sounded like the majority of sit down restaurants added traditional Thanksgiving fare for that day. We are staying at BLT so I think we're going to try out Chef Mickey's.

I too thought I read somewhere that it would be pumpkin something, but we had their regular bread pudding. :)
