Heading there because the Marching Band's last day in Orlando will be US/IOA (one of them) and will pick my daughter up before the bus leaves so family can stay and see Christmas decorations.

What will the crowds be like? And, can we get a Thanksgiving dinner?

Older dd(17) really wants to spend time seeing WWOHP -

Trying to figure out where best to spend time.

Hello, I did a search to find this same info -- anyone at Universal ON T'giving Day?

Am just starting to plan our 7 days (Friday before to Friday after T day). And am wondering which day to do Universal. If it's less crowded than WDW, this could be an option. Then the next question is where's best for T'giving dinner. Maybe that should be the first question ;)

Thanksgiving day isn't too terribly crowded so the lines shouldn't be too bad. I expect more crowds this year because of HP but I doubt it will be crazy busy. The day after Thanksgiving is another story.

What about the Saturday after thanksgiving? That is the day we plan on going. Would it be better to wait until sometime M-F following thanksgiving? :confused3

That weekend is VERY busy at all local parks. Expect long lines for everything. If you waited until the following week, the lines wouldn't be bad at all.
