Thanksgiving Day Transportation from MCO

We have two parties arriving at MCO on Thanksgiving morning by 11am. Initially we thought it may be better to split up and take Ubers as we arrive, 30 minutes apart, because we have a lunch reservation at 1:15. On second thought I'm concerned about availability and cost of Ubers on Thanksgiving day. We would like an Uber w/ a car set for our 5 year old, if possible. Is it likely we would get one Mears shuttle, if we went that route, for our entire party of 6 w/out additional stops at other resorts? What would you recommend?

We have traveled in the past on both Thanksgiving & Christmas day. Tends to be one of the slowest times at airports since most are already at their destination. I would think you will have better luck with established shuttle services since you make reservations ahead of time and they can plan for the workload expected. Online taxi companies probably have many people not working that day and spending time with family. I would feel more comfortable having an existing reservation ahead of time with the various shuttle companies often mentioned here compared to a last minute online taxi request, particularly on a holiday.
