Liberty Tree Tavern is booked solid - anyone have any recommendations for a place to eat that might serve something close to a traditional american thanksgiving dinner?

Thanks!

Most places probably will have a special traditional menu on Thanksgiving. I know that Garden Grill in Epcot, Whispering Canyon Cafe in WL and 1900 Park Fare in GF have in the past. I believe most of the Resort restaurants usually have in the past. I think I remember a TR last year from someone who did Coral Reef on Thanksgiving and they had turkey.

Enjoy your trip! We will be there for Thanksgiving as well.

Thanks everyone! I'm not actually going on Thanksgiving - I have a client that will be there, and since I've never actually been during thanksgiving, I figured asking on the dis would be quicker than calling Disney and waiting on hold. I was right! :) Thanks you guys!!

I think that is similar to the list from 2008 and 2009 too....so I'd bet this years will be similar....I counted 39 or 40 places...I'd think they should be able to get in at one of them still.

I called dining and it figures - two of the places they would like to eat aren't on the list. LOL But there are like, 50 other places that will have turkey, so hopfully they will be able to choose from that. lol

We were there last year for Thanksgiving and had a traditional dinner at Cape May as part of their buffet. Captain's Grille and Yachtsman both had a traditional meal offered. I think Captain's Grille was buffet. (we stayed at the Yacht Club)
From what I heard just about every restaurant offered a traditional meal. Expections might be in WS at Epcot.

the allear.net page has thanksgiving dinners menus from 2010. We have thanksgivng at the fort lunch and diamond horseshoe for dinner.

1) I also like good food at Thanksgiving.
2) But, I also want a different atmosphere.
3) So, I have an off-the-wall and out-of-the-way favorite.

4) Trail's End Thanksgiving Lunch and Dinner Buffet:
. . . hearty vegetable soup, salad bar, fruit
. . . smoked turkey breast, mustard glazed ham, corn bread stuffing
. . . chicken, bbq pork ribs, baked salmon, penne pasta
. . . green beans, glazed carrots, broccoli,
. . . butternut squash, mashed potatoes, candied yams,
. . . pumpkin pie

NOTE:
There are several WDW eateries with traditional Thanksgiving
food. I don't think there are any bad choices. Turkey is pretty
much turkey, and I can get that at home. So, I go for atmosphere
I can't get at home.

We are going to Boma for something different :). My family thought the place looked awesome and we can't wait to try it. I know some people don't like it but oh well......

Also eating at Rainforest in AK for early lunch that day since Boma is at 8:15. A tradition that is a must for our family. I believe we should probably split meals here that day though LOL.

We have reservations at grand Floridian Cafe. We were told that they have a great selection of traditional thanksgiving food.

Last year we had Thanksgiving dinner at WCC at WL. The food was good and the WL was stunning with the Christmas decorations. And it's also convenient to MK:flower3:
