:teeth: Happy Thanksgiving my friends!! WOW!! :earseek: I see some successes!!

I have to make this final post a short one, as do most of you, I am going to church in 10 minutes! I have to share my final success with you all!

I was moaning and complaining because I was stalled for almost 4 weeks. Well, in this past week and a half, I have lost.......7 pounds total!! So, I didn't make the goal, but 7/10 is great, I'll take it!!

I am so proud of everyone who participated! It was so much fun to be a part of the journey!! I will check in often, and get everybody's totals, and add them to my worksheet. Sometime in the next week, I will post a new thread with the total lost--it's amazing!!::yes::

Happy Thanksgiving!!
gobble gobble gobble....

I'm going to post now what I weighed in at this morning because tomorrow I will be busy with the final preparations for dinner. I lost 4 pounds total which puts me at 4/8. I am OK with that because it is TOM right now, so maybe next week I'll get a whoosh. I hope to loose the other 4 by Dec.13 when we have our work Christmas party. This challenge has been a good start and motivation towards that!

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!

I haven't weighed myself today, but Tuesday's WI showed that I had lost 4lbs, which put me at my goal of 10lbs. Thanks again Michelle for doing this challenge, it has helped me to stay focused and get a little bit further to my goal. Hope that you all have a great Thanksgiving. Onward and downward :hyper:

Happy Thanksgiving everyone - I hope you all have a great time:wave2:
Thanks Michelle for starting this challenge:sunny: it's really helped me keeping on target for ONDERland at Christmas.
I'm really pleased to have lost 6lb on this challenge:hyper: - although I didn't make my target of 7lb I am happy with being close to it.
Happy Thanksgiving
Helen

Happy Thanksgiving

I have only lost 0.5 lb this week as it is the TOM for me too, which means I was 0.5 lb away from my goal...5.5/6
I too hope the whoosh fairy visits me next week, I am thinking happy thoughts::yes::
Thanks Michelle for starting the challenge.

Hope you all have a great Thanksgiving::yes::

Wishing all of you celebrating Thanksgiving a wonderful day with family & friends!

Well I am down 1lb this week - so my total for the challenge is 6/8 - I didn't make it - but it is not to bad as I seem to have had a few slow weeks!! Each pound counts though and the challenge has kept me on track when I might have been tempted to stray!!

It has been great sharing this challenge with you all - and anyone who needs more encouragement through the rest of the holiday season - please join us on the New Year Challenge thread!!
Thanks for doing this Michelle - Happy Thanksgiving Everyone,
Claire:wave:

Well I only made it half way. I'm 5/10, but that still means I'm down 5 lbs. While I didn't get my 25 lb clippie I did get my 20 lb. one.

Thanks for starting this challenge! Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!!

As of my weigh in yesterday, I am down 3.8/5 since the challenge began. I see a lot of us didn't make our original goals, but that is okay, we still loss and that is what matters most of all. Keep up the great work as we all continue to go onward and downward!!!

(Congratulations, Catherine on making your Thanksgiving goal!)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

I made it to my goal of 10 lbs and my total loss to 35 pounds! I am so excited and feel so lucky to have the motivation of fellow "wishers".:grouphug:

Congratulations to all!!:sunny:

My goal was 2 pounds and I'm down a total of 5 pounds!! Today is a planned indulgence day for me so I know the scale will be up the next day or two and I'm OK with that. By Sunday or Monday I'll be back down again.

Thanks for the challenge, Michelle! It really helped me stay focused! That pic of the turkey in my siggie was looking at me all the time and reminding me to stay on track!

Happy Thanksgiving to those of us celebrating today and Happy Day to those who are not. :D

Thanks to TOM and the BF, I ended at 5/7. I'm really pleased though to be losing weight at this time of the year....I hope someone does a Christmas one...that will help me not gain in the next 6 weeks!

Thanks!

Carmen

Well, I didn't loose anything during the challenge because of my Disney trip. I gained 3 pounds prior to going to disney and only .2 once I got home and had my official WI on Monday.

I think one of my original replies when the challenge came out was to not be more than 146 which was where I was when the challenge was first mentioned. I weighed 145. 2 this past Monday at my WI, and I got on the scale this morning and I was 142.8. So it is heading in the right direction! I am proud of myself that I was able to get back on track after my vacation. I really was afraid I wasn't going to be able too. Now I can't wait to see 139, its getting close but still feels so far away! I am sure that I will see that and maybe a little more by the time Christmas rolls around!

Congrats to everyone who lost!

Melanie

Happy thanksgiving all!

My final weigh in makes me another 2lbs down - total of 5/8. Didn't quite make it - but I'm happy!

I maintained this week, so my final stats are 4.5/10. I didn't make it to goal, but that's ok with me. I did lose 4.5 pounds and most importantly, with the exception of a minor detour while I was out of town last week, I stayed on plan. I feel like as long as I can do that, I know I'm on the right track, even if the scales don't always show me the losses I would like! :D

Congratulations to all who participated in the Thanksgiving Challenge!! Setting a goal and putting into place the means to achieve goal makes all of us winners!! :bounce: :bounce:

I went to weigh in yesterday but the scales were broken. But my challange was really over last week cause i was going away for the weekend. Over the weekend i just ate what i felt like. But i'd planned on doing that. So overall, not counting last week, i lost 8.5/5 (I think).

If the scales are working later i'll update.

Well, the good news is - I have a new clippie - the bad news is - I didn't reach my goal of 6 lbs. In fact, I needed to lose only 1 lb to get the new clippie, so I'm thrilled with that. So I only made 1 of 6 lbs that I aimed for. I'll take that, and try to maintain. I could join the ONE-derland by Christmas - that would be 5 lbs, and I'm not sure I'm up for that. On the other hand, I got really nice compliments from family I hadn't seen in a while...hmmmm....

Hi Everyone! I unfortunately did not make my Turkey Day Challenge goal. I ended up at 2.6/5. I did really enjoy being a part of this challenge, thanks to everyone for your support! One of the best things about this Thanksgiving was wearing a size 14 pair of jeans instead of a size 20 this year! :Pinkbounc So onward and downward to New Years and getting rid of MORE pounds!!

I too didn't make my goal:( , but I did manage to lose 3/5. We're all healthier and that's what matters!!!

I already posted this to last week's thread, but since this is the final thread of the challenge, here goes...

I made my goal! Final results are 11/9. Right now I'm just hoping to maintain that result after last Thursday and Friday, eek...

Congrats to all! Come on over and join the New Year's thread, and stay strong throughout the holidays!
