Thanksgiving buffet at YC Convention Center?

Hello!

In a previous post, Laura mentioned that she is having Thanksgiving dinner at the YC Convention Center. I haven't made any dinner Ps's for that day, I couldn't decide where to go! I had read earlier that they weren't doing the dinner in the convention center. Has anyone been to this dinnner before? I realize it won't be very cozy with hundreds of people in there, but is the food good? Is there a character show?
I seem to have a commitment problem when it comes to Thanksgiving dinner!
Are we going to end up eating chicken wings at ESPN??

I know that when I went to make ressies, the CM said that they were not planning a Thanksgiving meal at the YC Convention Center. We opted to have dinner at Cape May in the BC instead. Good luck with whatever meal you choose!

We did it last year because they had closed YC galley post 9/11. It was supposed to be a character meal. Mickey & Minnie stood in front taking pictures near haystacks. The place is huge, there was a very large spread of food. It was not my ideal T'day dinner. I wouldn't do that one again.

This year we booked the YC Galley again and so far it's still open

It was way too much of a convention hall feeling for me there. Just my opinion though ...

Not sure about Cape May - but YC Galley has a traditional buffet with a carving station.

they arent holding the Thnaksgiving dinner at the YC convention center this year. they are having it at the YC galley instead, the dinner is being run by the convention center though.
I'm booked at the galley for 3:30

Princess Angel -- will there be characters at the YC Galley? I just read on another thread that someone said the convention center was doing a meal with around 16 characters. Don't know if they are opening up the convention center again this year or if the poster was referring to the Galley.

Yes. They will be having a Premium Buffet (which includes turkey and all the trimmings), and a carving station.
