Thanksgiving at the fort...

Hello all,

Has anyone ever spent thanksgiving at mickey's backyard bar-b-q??? I understand they serve thanksgiving foods, instead of the normal bar-b-q foods. I also heard the characters put on Thanksgiving clothes.. I found 1 review though that said the turkey offered was not "real" cooked turkey it was some sort of canned/processed turkey. Now they don't do that for the bar-b-q, so maybe this review was incorrect??? If anyone has been to it please share... I do have reservations at the Brown Derby, as we'll be at HS that day.. but DH thought the Thanksgiving at the fort would be fun. ...IMO not if the stinking turkey is from a can though!!

WE did it a few years ago, so my information may be out dated, but the turkey seemed like a processed turkey roll. Also, it's outside under a tent so if it's cold weather you will be cold too. I think if I were you I would stick with the Brown Derby where you know you'll have a nice dinner.

Yeah, that bothers me. Who wants to eat a turkey roll on Thanksgiving day?? Who wants to eat a turkey roll on any day! ew..
