Wow Denise. Thanks for the update.

It all sounds delicious but a bit pricey. Plus you need to add tax and tip. And never ever under any circumstances stiff your server. I guess Wdw is trying to get their hand in my wallet. Alli have to say is " good luck with that". :rotfl:

Whoa!! Pricey!!

I know this isn't nearly the same, but we will be enroute to the Fort on Thanksgiving Day (tradition!) and stopping at Cracker Barrel somewhere on I-95 for Thanksgiving Dinner (tradition, again!!!):

http://www.crackerbarrel.com/restaurant/seasonal-offerings/

for $8.99/adults, $4.49/children (of any age, many times I eat the kids meal and am stuffed).

includes: turkey, ham, stuffing, potatoes, veggie, biscuits, drink AND dessert!

They also have a "feeds 6" to go deal for $49.99. (24-hour advance notice on that one, but just thought I'd throw it out there in case any of you wanted to bring it back to the Fort)

Sorry, OP -- not trying to hijack your thread, just getting excited because it's getting SO close!! Even though we are so not even close to being ready!!

Ready or not, we'll be there soon!! :cool1:

We did Thanksgiving at the Fort in 2008 and really enjoyed it! As far as being pricey...it really isn't that bad. We have reservations at a restaurant in Mystic that serves a buffet for Thanksgiving and it is close to $40 per adult and $18 per child, and tax and gratuity will be added to that: http://www.coastalgourmetct.com/latitude41/pdfs/LatitudeThanksgivingBuffet.pdf

Different environment, for certain, so not quite apples to apples, but it makes me think that $50 and $30 isn't completely overboard...of course Cracker Barrel looks like a steal!
