Thanksgiving 2014 or Memorial Day 2015?

I have been to WDW in 2011 and 2013 for Memorial Day weekend and part of the week following it. Though I didn't attempt Magic Kingdom that day, I was at WDW when Magic Kingdom was open for 24 hours one of the days prior to Memorial Day in 2013. We are considering a quickly planned trip for Thanksgiving this year. The crowds on Memorial Day weekend in 2013 were manageable, but I noticed an increase from 2011. For those that have been both times, how are Thanksgiving week crowds compared to Memorial Day week? We have never traveled on Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving week is just as packed as Memorial Day weekend if not more so. With that said, it is manageable with FP+ and ADRs made at 180 days out but you won't have too many of those since you are just now thinking of going on the trip. I would personally wait for Memorial Day weekend so that you have time to book your FP+ and ADRs ahead of time.
