We are back from our very first Thanksgiving trip! :goodvibes

Sadly, I did not take any food pics (for shame!!), but I will try to borrow some from Google just to give you an idea.

I will just give you the brief lowdown on each venue to give you a good idea of the atmosphere, food, and service.

We were on free Disney Dining Plan.

I hope you find this helpful!!

We arrived to the Coronado Springs around 7pm. Easy check in and then headed straight to the Poly for dinner.

Captain Cooks: This is the CS at the Poly & our first night tradition. We like to get Captain Cooks to go & watch the EWP & Wishes from the Poly beach. Unfortunately, it was raining Wed. night so we ate indoors. CC's is very clean, busy, but we easily found a seat. You order via computers, which seems very efficient, though not very good if you are looking for substitutions or special requests. Service was quick and friendly. I got the multi-grain turkey club with steamed veggies as a side. The turkey club was fresh and delicious as usual-one of the best turkey sandwiches at WDW, IMHO. The veggies were simple and yummy. My DF got the Aloha Pork Sandwich with Poly chips as his side. He said the sandwich was just as yummy as last year. Portion size was HUGE, and we easily could have split one meal, if we were not on the DDP. For dessert we both got....DOLE WHIPS!!!!!!:cool1: I'm pretty sure CC' is the only non-park restaurant to serve Dole Whips. I got pineapple/Vanilla swirl. DF got pineapple. Both were delicious as usual!!

Overall, I give CC's an A+ for food, cleanliness, service, and theming.

Some pics of CC I pulled off the web:

Sorry, I could not find a picture of the Aloha Pork Sandwich.

We were in Epcot for Thanksgiving, which I highly recommend. We did not have any issues with crowds AT ALL-we actually felt like we were there on an off season day!

Lunch at Sunshine Seasons: This food court is located in The Land Pavilion in Future World. We decided to eat around 11:30 AM, to avoid the lunch crowd. This worked out since we ate breakfast early. DF and I both had the seared tuna salad. Oh my goodness, this was SO delicious!!! I ordered it, based on the reviews I've seen on here and it was better than I had anticipated!! A lovely crisp salad of mixed greens in a light sesame rice wine dressing. The tuna was seared perfectly! I got the infamous strawberry shortcake for dessert. The strawberry shortcake was very light and fresh and lived up to it's reviews! DF got some kind of orange citrussy creamy dessert (sorry, I don't know the name), which he loved. Service was good, but this place gets busy so get here early! We found it to be very clean and a pretty atmosphere which the gorgeous ceiling of the sun and hot air balloons!

A++ for this meal for food, atmosphere, & cleanliness. It was definitely my favorite lunch of our whole trip & I will be returning here again for this same exact meal!

MMMMM! The seared tuna salad is one of my very favorite meals at WDW! So YUMMY! I can't wait to get this again in February!
