Thanksgiving 2008

We have been to WDW twice at T'giving - it was crowded, but certainly do-able. In fact, the week after T'giving this year was just as crowded, IMO, but that's another thread....

I am ready to book T'giving 2008, and tried calling MS all day Saturday but it was busy. All. Day. Is this a bad sign? Will I even be able to book 11 months out now? I'm calling tomorrow to book two 2-bedrooms at SSR for T'giving week, hoping to switch to OKW at the 7-month mark. Anyone else going that week have trouble booking? Is this going to be crazy?

I just wanted to say that I had to call MS on Saturday also.
I called about 4:30 & it was busy.
I tried again immediately & was on hold for 14 minutes before I got "cut-off" .

I called back again, & was on hold for 10 minutes before I FINALLY got thru.

Good luck with your T'giving booking. Hope you get it.

I got through to MS on Saturday at around 2:30pm with a 25 minute wait...
I waited becuase I did not think I would get to it today and I wanted to make TDay reservations..
It was no problem. I am sure you will get your reservation between now and the 7 month mark at SSR. This is a BIG resort... if you wanted 2 2br at BCV I would be doubtful!!

I called this morning and completed our reservation for Thanksgiving 08: SSR 2BR 11/25 arrival and 11/30 departure. The lines were busy for the first few calls though.

I got it!

Two dedicated 2-bedrooms at SSR for T'giving week 2008. And I think I'm going to keep it there and try out SSR since we've never stayed there. We've stayed at OKW 3 times now. Time for something new!

Time to start planning!!!
