well here is my stab at my first trip report! will have to do it in pieces...but here goes!

ok, so we left on Thursday 11/20 (missing 2 days of school of course). DD turned 9 on 11/22. this is the 3rd year we have gone over the week of her birthday. it is just the three of us - dh, dd and I. no real family around so 3 years ago we started the going to Disney tradition for Thanksgiving.

so this year we were NOT going to Disney - were considering a cruise instead...dd kind of had that "been there, done that" attitude. then, in 4/08 she decided we had to go again. so checked and booked a flight for a decent price in 5/08.

Never having planned this far ahead for Disney (usually booking in September), I now had over 6 months to get those ressies in order! then I did the GREAT WAIT FOR NOVEMBER 08 calendars..my intro to the Disboards. I was trying to find out why the dates weren't posted and found lots of others wondering the same thing! also found a local group of Disers along with some other groups. was up at 6am CST on the day I could make my reservations and got everything I wanted. few weeks later, however, I signed up for TGM and changed EVERY park day and EVERY ressie - still got what I wanted though!

so fast forward to three months - reading an obscure newspaper article mentioning that Delta has decided to cancel some flights in 11/08. on a whim I check and voila - they no longer fly directly to Orlando and we had to stop in Atlanta both ways. what a pain! I called and complained and they had tried to make the arrival time even later. however, I had already paid for MVMCP and made them change the time earlier....giving me a little more time to get to Disney and in the room and to MVMCP. Plus, I had made reservations at Tony's. so one crisis averted!

and, since there was less than an hour between arrival in ATL and departure to MCO, I decided to only do carry on. the day before we leave for Disney I have this crazy idea to measure my current carry on luggage and find it is more than 2" TOO BIG. so run to WalMart to buy this wheeled carry on with a backpack for each of us. whee! packed all the stuff in space bags and seemed to do ok with getting all I needed to pack in the bags.

several surprises in store for dd for the birthday trip = hopeful we can pull them all off! (and still hoping to win that dream night in the Cinderella suite!)

so, we get on a plane at 11:30am CST on Thursday 11/20.

security went easy...flight was fine and arrived in Orlando around 4:30pm EST. of course, didn't think about not having any food during the layover so dh and dd were not too happy with airport fooding it...but finally - Orlando!!!

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5273843720167082242

got to Pop Century around 6p and into the room by 6:15p. wow it was cold!

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5273843730353955186

got our coats, hats and mittens and caught the bus to MK for dinner and MVMCP.

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5273843736086903842

no matter how many times we go, I am always thrilled to hear the music on the bus announcing we have arrived at MK!

walked down Main Street with the snow and decorations and just couldn't believe we were there! :worship:

so maybe it was nerves, or maybe it was whatever. Tony's just wasn't what we remembered...sigh. dh and I split a spaghetti...didn't taste very good. bread was nice and dh had minestrone. dd got pizza but didn't seem to like it too much, either.

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5273843745426032738

another waiter sang Happy Birthday to another girl and pushed her around the restaurant in her chair, so of course dd had to do this too! she loved it and got a kick out of it!

dessert was good though

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5273845573889556354

off to enjoy the rest of MK and MVMCP!!!:santa:

outside Tony's

woo hoo thanks for reading! hope I can finish the whole thing!

walked into the back of lots of shops on Main Street trying to avoid crowds there - found a shop with a glass blowing artisan - vases and bowls (not the one making the Mickey items)....and one with lots of swords

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5273845577504123666

5 minute wait for Laugh Factory (Monster's Inc) - and the last show of the evening! great sign that would become a mantra for the trip....

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5273845584533365826

stood in line for 35 minutes at MVMCP...not too bad considering 2-3 hour wait times I had read about...

once in the pre-room - cute with laser fairy flying around! we had to shrink to fairy size - check the size of this ladybug!

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5273851769672720754

the wait was well worth it! the room itself was awesome

Silvermist was first - dd's favorite of course! there are 3 out of 5 fairies at any given time....so she was excited to see Silvermist but upset that we didn't unpack her autograph book or her Silvermist costume...and she was so attentive to dd!

the fairies were very entertaining and interacted in character with each other

and of course, since we forgot the autograph book, we used the back of the MVMCP program....which mom accidentally handed to dad and he threw the autographs away! well, at least we have photos.... :(

stayed the whole night - no wait on rides! skipped the fireworks and parade and just rode rides....and to DHS tomorrow!!!

so we started with sleeping in late and decorating our window

I had trouble walking so reluctantly broke down and got an electric scooter again....started at DHS with lunch at the Sci Fi - 1st seating. Waiter gave dd a Tink and a Captain Hook lightup clip! she also displayed her artistic side...

http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/DM7bPrRAriLT-sI4qQy2fQ?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw

dh and dd finally did the Tower of Terror...mom took the chicken exit out!

I had never seen Beauty & the Beast stage show so made the executive decision and told them we were going to see it this time! dd had her birthday button on and I rode up to ask where to drive in for the show. CM asked dd if she wanted to be the princess in the show! She would get to sit down in the front and would get to meet Belle and the prince, who would give her a rose! what a magical moment (dd and dh got over that I had MADE them go to the show after that!)

got awesome shots - sat on the second row. I have to admit..I cried through the whole thing. I think I went to see B&tB with my mom and I know she would have so enjoyed the show...I missed her so much. dh kept asking why I was crying but I just couldn't explain (plus I was crying). I think it was the excitement of finally getting to see the show along with the excitement for Grayce of having an awesome Disney magical moment!

more later...my cold I brought home from Disney is getting the best of me....

after B&TB we head to RnRC....where "we" means dh & dd while mom hangs out in the gift shop at the end.

did fantasmic dinner package at Hollywood & Vine. DH always complains "why are we going here I don't like this" or so he claims...first time I have heard it but will now remember this. food is good (so he says). and waiter brings dd a birthday card signed by the AM characters. she is graciously polite in accepting (as she does NOT like the characters - after all she is 9, almost 10 now.)

figured fast passes were way gone for TSM ride but voila - still had some! weren't until 7p which is right before Fantasmic, so this is great! scooted in and saw Indiana do his thing right after started. did the Muppet's ride too. Very upset that Osborne Lights won't be on until the day after we leave...hence the return trip in December. uh..yeah. that's why. although it isn't too cold yet, forecast is for very cold (low 40's) weather tonite. so I scoot over to Pop to gather blankets and gloves and these hand warmer packets you open and shake and they warm up. dh and dd laugh at this...for the time being. I keep telling them MOM is ALWAYS right....bus ride fro DHS to Pop is incredibly short - to and from all the parks but MK is great even with the scooter.

meet at the gas station to make the trek to the dinner package Fantasmic area...like we did last year. time is getting closer and no one there and no open gate. so I ask a random person who informs me "everyone goes in the same spot now." well, this is the coldest, dampest nastiest night of all. so after the princesses float by (and poor Arielle in just her seashells and her tail got my greatest sympathy)....even with 2 layers of clothing and handwarmers - we have had enough. hand off the hand warmers to folks next to us and head to TSM for our ride - went in the back way because of the scooter - what a cool ride! jerks around and somewhat nauseating for me....but awesome nonetheless! beats Buzz out of the water....

oops - couldn't figure out why troops were so angry next AM - forgot we went to Hoop De Do Review this night @ 9:45p seating. added it at last moment to burn up some TS credits. trying to get there from DHS was interesting.....so it was cold, and why do you have to BE there so darn early when there is no where warm to hang and no seating?? I understand they have to clean from the previous show but BRRR it was cold. there was a heater outdoors at the restaurant next door so I hung there with a lady who ended up seated next to us. her husband ended up being picked to siut in the show. the same people still seem to be there in teh cast but as silly as it is it was funny and we laughed the whole time. didn't realize how risque some of it was )re: my 9 year old) but guess it just went over her head. we were seated right behind the piano on the front in the corner. glad we were able to go even though wasn't originally planned...lots of grumbling trying to find settlement bus and get back to our room....late but fun day...and the surprises have not yet begun!

so we had breakfast at Tusker House for 8:30am scheduled. however, the troops revolted and refused to get up at 5:30 CST for food. shame on them. where did I pick up these people who don't eat breakfast? so I kindly call and cancel the ressie so some other craz...lucky family can have my breakfast...

so 6 Epcot buses go by in the 20 minutes we wait for the bus to AK. we get to the park at 11:15a. I zoom to FP the safari while dd& dh trek to Dinoworld. Primeval whirl is down for rehab (boo). dd is playing in the boneyard...we go to Dinosaur and it is broken. so we are 0 for 2 in this area. dd does Triceratops twirl on her own and dh and I talk to a lovely couple from NY. we go back to Dinosaur and it is back up and running!

for some reason, I don't remember getting on this ride...even when we get on the jeep. then I remember something about this ride with dinosaurs....I assured a poor lady in line that "it can't be too bad if I am riding it - I don't like motion sick rides." halfway (ok 10 seconds) into the ride I hope I don't encounter this lady - this ride was WAY more than I expected or remembered. again, logging this into my memory...

we go and FP Everest then went to the Safari. however, the ECV line was incredibly backed up and there was no way we could do it and go to lunch ressie. so got the FP back (thank you CM) and ate at Yak & Yeti.

Y&Yn is one of those unassuming places that don't catch your eye....the decor was asian/indian. we sat upstairs and a whole section there was empty. lettuce wraps were good, but somewhat spicy. dh had eggrolls that he liked. steak and shrimp I got were good and great presentation!

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274562546270115810

yes and dh and dd thought I was crazy for photographing the food....sigh

then off to the Wonders of Flight show = dd was upset I was in the back row and ran off the the front row. the big bird almost touched my head flying over me to the back of the area...how cool

then to the safari and Everest....Yeti was not in scare form....

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274562559079441666

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274562567110122770

after that, park was closing - saw some cool macaws hanging on the fence..and caught last Tough to be a Bug show we had forgotten about....

so we head back to the room for a rest before dinner at Chef Mickey's (yuk for me but dd insisted THIS is where she wanted to eat her birthday dinner...) so in spite of OCD planning for months, we go to leave for our 7:30 ADR and I realize it is for 7:05P! And is it 6:45p. so I go to concierge to share my tale of woe and she says "is 8:05p ok?" - thank you Disney magic!

so we truck it on over to CR and check out the chocolate Pinocchio sculpture....totally awesome. dh and dd don't realize it, but I intend to visit ALL the resorts in December to see their awesome lobby Christmas displays...with or without them!

CM is a little more fun this time - mango ribs are awesome and dh gets his prime rib....or some meat dish. dd has a pluto pen and he of course tries to steal it...it is great to see her not too old to giggle and have fun!

oh and I am STILL confused about the DDP - I get several receipts then get several more to sign..and for some reason I thought we had to pay the tax too. but I am not seeing receipts for this. waiter at CM says no - you just pay the tip...takes me the whole trip to get the hang of this...

and back to the room where an autographed picture of Cinderella and some balloons await for the birthday princess - now officially 9 as of 5:04pm!!!

we get to see part of the Wishes FW while on the monorail back to the resort...dh is saying "oh I don't care about seeing the fireworks..." :scared1: great because tomorrow I am surprising her and dh with a fireworks cruise. I have been VERY good and have known about this for over THREE months and not told either of them!!! I do tell her that she is getting two surprises tomorrow...thus starts the "let's play 20 questions" game. which I am not good at lying....she figures out she is getting a cake of the castle for her b'day so she is stoked. she didn't really have a clue that a fireworks cruise exists, so that one is safe for now....

no - sorry - if you have read this far, we were not visited by the Dream Team. I am sure they only get those at the rope drops, of which we did not partake this trip. well, actually, we DID go to our ADR at Cinderella's table at 8:10am...which meant we left at 7:15a or so and got up at 6:30a. which dd is not able to translate into "but that is 5:30am N.O. time" as she grumbles about getting up so early....I threaten her with ...well nothing as I force her to get up. then she perks up and says "when am I getting my cake?" sigh.

so we get there and can't believe it is 8am and ALL these people are standing here in the freezing cold waiting another HOUR to get into the park.....Main Street is nice empty but it is too cold for us to care.

and yes, being from NO....anything below 70 degrees is cold to me....we were constantly amazed at those in shorts and short sleeved shirts while we were bundled up to the nines!

so breakfast....2 TS....blah - another thing to use up creds for the DxDP. we take the family picture that is now complimentary (should be for what we paid for the breakfast). dh and dd are tired of sausage and bacon. princesses come around and dd keeps asking "where is the cake?" so dh leaves to find the little prince room and of course, they bring the cake. and it is the slipper cake. and a darker chocolate vs. white chocolate. but dd is thrilled and taken aback cause she was expecting the castle one. I get to eat the mousse and she tears apart the slipper. not sure what the cake underneath was made of - spongecake? too full to try it. but for the price ($12.50) it was awesome!

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274519170262394466

and we "happen" to run into a fellow Diser mmmcq who is dining with her husband and lovely dd same age as dd.....dh is like "and how did you meet her?" and I try to explain the Disboards to him...hius eyes roll back in his head and he...no not really but I mention computers and it is a sore point with him..and mmmcq are so excited but haven't said a word to our families yet!! go us!

so this AM we decided to cancel Tony's TS after experience the other night...and I booked an ADR this AM for Brown Derby...ran to Tom Sawyer's Island to try and find the elusive paint brushes. one is found, but not by us. dd is very disappointed.....we didn't bring the ponchos so Splash is out...it is still too cold for us Southern folk.....and wet and cold do not go well together. we decide we are tired and so we cancel the Brown Derby and go back to the hotel for long naps....well for dh and I anyway. he actually takes dd to the pool for a swim....

so we are somewhat following the itinerary I so painstakingly laid out...haa!! :lmao:

although it is in LARGE TYPE on my itinerary, I forget about the 6pm torch lighting in the great ceremonial house. which I just realized JUST NOW as I am looking over what we did to jog my memory!! dh and dd have no clue why I am suiting up with TWO pairs of socks, a pair of long underwear and TWO pairs of pants, two shirts, coat, scarf, gloves and blankets......so we get to Kona a little early for dinner and check out the pins and stuff. It is a lot smaller than I expect....and the desserts look scrumptious!! so I start building up "2 more hours to your surprise" and neither has a clue....

so the food is great - our ressie is 6:25p. a family sitting next to us has just gotten their meal as we are seated...so we drool over their meals (we were kind of close - sorry other family!)....we order and get our food and are waiting for the check...and the poor little family who has been there since 5:25 is STILL waiting at 7:20p for their CHECK....and I am getting antsy because we have to be in the marina at 8p. so the dad finds a managerial looking lady who apologizes and gets our checks and theirs promptly. here are pictures of the crab cake appetizer (YUM!) and the entree (scallops and fried shrimp, which would return to haunt me), and us clowning around. we got some non-alcoholic drinks that came with paper umbrellas. dd claimed she had never seen these before (!) which I guess is true....glad I could infuse some culture into our trip!!

oh- and AWESOME desserts!!! Kona Kone and Creme Brulee - had chocolate on the bottom!!

yes - and more ribbing of mom for taking pics of food...

so then I suggest heading out to the marina....she jumps in a Sea Raycer on the shore and we marvel at the volcano poolside....and after a few clues and seeing the water and the boats dd says "we are going on a cruise?!" to which I promptly correct her (wouldn't that be nice though?) and tell her no - it is a fireworks cruise....she seems less than enthused.....and neither of the other families are here yet. so finally I hookup with our other Dis family and their 2 precious little girls. we try to call mmmcq and I have stored the wrong number in my phone. finally get her and we get on the boat and are ready to cruise!!!

the girls arent too thrilled about their life jackets....and how come they have to wear them and the adults don't? dd lies on the boat floor several times acting like a turtle on its back that can't get up.....the cruise is great with another 9 year old and adults to talk to. Capt Brian is great and gives us all kinds of facts about the lagoon and tells bad pirate jokes...

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274577445324653106

awesome towels in Mickey head shapes...and cruise was complete with blankets!!!

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274580594477402658
http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274580600720155266

And no real birthday party would be complete without CAKE!!!
http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274580607870491218

and chips and soft drinks...and what a treat - we got to see the elusive water parade close up! And it has it's own music! who would have thunk it? mmmcq didn't realize I had no clue that was part of the cruise - made it even cooler than it already was.

so we settle into a spot on the water to watch Wishes.....and OMG i swore I wouldn't cry but I couldn't help it - it was just the perfect night and all was right with the world!! and somehow I felt my mom and dad were there with us watching. far as I know, they never ever went to WDW...and mom never got to meet Grayce. very emotional even now typing this but wow - this was just the best experience!!! it was so sad to have to pull back into the dock and leave....TOTALLY worth the money and planning and secrecy!! the girls got to keep the happy birthday balloons...I hope Kadesha and Al enjoyed the trip even though their younger one slept through the whole thing.

enjoying your trip report, and great photos. Question...on the slipper cake at the castle...were you given a choice of flavor, or are they all chocolate?

enjoying your trip report, and great photos. Question...on the slipper cake at the castle...were you given a choice of flavor, or are they all chocolate?

thanks for reading!! I had only seen a white chocolate slipper, then I think I remember seeing a (brown) chocolate one. I didn't specify so maybe it comes in both? or dark chocolate is the default color!

so after late and awesome night last night...troops still rebelled at getting up for 8:05 res at Beach Club.....got there with no real problem....first look at a DVC property. and the famous chocolate/gingerbread carousel I have been dying to see since seeing it on that Samantha Brown show. yummy buffet with Donald, Goofy and Minnie....and the area with the beach movies is cool!
and dh and dd extract from me a SOLEMN vow that I will NEVER book any more breakfasts...to which I cowerlingly whisper "but we have to go to Crystal Palace and Boma to use up our creds!" but I don't think they hear me...

so it is just the coolest thing to walk right into Epcot at 9:05am - I try to soften dh into how cool it would be if we owned DVC....blah blah blah...and I scoot over to Soaring to catch FPs while dd & dh head to Test Track...G's card doesn't give me a FP so I am freaking. a lovely woman behind me gave me one of hers because one of her kids was too young to ride! sweet! and thanks! dh and dd are getting off Test Track as I get there. the line is already long and I do like FT but decline to get in line again... dd begs for the proverbial car (start saving now child!) and she and dh proceed to brave the ORANGE side of Mission Space....they are getting more and more brave each trip!! I again politely decline this ride...I get sick just standing in the room where Gary Sinise is explaining the ride. they get off and say it wasn't too bad - the 'sponning" just made you stick in your seat more (G-forces?) and they try to trick me into going on. silly mortals....that and ToT will not be graced with my queenly presence! so we finally join as a family to do Ellen's Energy Adventure, which I realize is the dinosaury sedate ride I mistook Dinosaur in AK for..... nice but dh isn't very fond of Ellen.....

off to Innoventions where my katrina surviving brethren will understand...and maybe those Floridians and Texans who have survived some bad storms too. so there is this storm experience thing. PTSD immediately surfaces, but, like a good train wreck, we feel we have to go in and see this thing. will be therapeutic, right? so you are sitting there in 3-D watching a storm tear apart a place you are sitting in...now, I didn't stay here for the big K....but I am terrified of storms in general and tornados since reading the Wizard of Oz at age 4.... so we get out of there intact but nerves a little jangled. been there done it - won't do it again. useful for those who have no clue about preparation for a storm...but we, as smart noses, were talking back especially dd.

so anyway....back to the happy place....back to the happy place....we skip the garbage thing because it looks too long (and ew!). off for one of many snacks (how are we EVER going to eat 2 snacks EACH per day?) and I see my friend Melissa who works @ Epcot but is hanging with her family today - totally random and totally cool! we go back to do Soarin' and marvel that anyone is fool NOT to fastpass and will willingly wait in line an ACTUAL 90 minutes....as we pass them our snobbish FP selves revel in the short and worth it FP line...and laugh at them as we leave and they haven't moved. sorry if you were in that line. but we all three agreed - 90 minutes for a 2 minute ride - just skip it or come earlier!!

so we just tool around the world until our 2:40 Le Cellier ressie. and WOW that place is SMALL! no WONDER no one can get it - there is one room with maybe 20? tabletops? heard mixed reviews, especially lately, but we think the steaks are good and the dessert is again a showpiece- s'mores anyone?

no, it does not take much to impress me..the Disney desserts have been such a delightful surprise!!!

so back to the room for our now daily nap (still technically on schedule though). actually, I just have parks and restaurants on the itinerary. being this is the 4th trip to the world since 11/06, we are more laid back and things aren't as urgent. although I worry @ dh and dd getting bored - and what are we going to do in December?!?! thank goodness I have some surprises aka new things we have never done planned for then to keep it "fresh".

dh takes dd for a swim....and I have to decide when to tell her she has to wash her hair for her next surprise...Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique!! for being a girl, she hates baths like a boy....I figure she has to wash her hair after swimming so I decide to spring the BB surprise today. there is no way to get her up early and wash/brush her hair. she is totally excited because I had told her 3 weeks ago when she asked there was no way to get a reservation now for Thanksgiving..and I had booked hers 6 months ago....:rolleyes1

well, dd wakes up and has a fever..so off to the Pop shop to buy a $6 bottle of Tylenol. brought Benadryl and new skin, but forgot the Tylenol. back to Epcot where Illuminations is going on - we scoot to go to the Yachtsman for the latest seating. What the HECK was I thinking 9:45pm? so the troops whine about this too....but it is only 8:45p in N.O. and we have gone out many a time to eat then..plus I figured we would be able to maximize our time at Epcot, watch all of Illuminations and not have to rush to dinner. however, dd is droopy and doesn't feel good. the Beach Club pool right outside the door is cool...well it is actually heated and there are foo...people actually in the pool. while the lifeguards are bundled up in long sleeved pants and jackets. so we go to eat and a family from N.O. is seated right next to us! and the steaks are awesome as expected. G gets a great white chocolate puzzle dessert that she can paint on with Royal icing...she is not feeling good and our incredible server Yun was so great to her. dh commented through the rest of the trip how great the cast members were to her, "especially that nice lady at the Yacht place who kept checking my head". classic Disney magic and service!:worship:

so no breakfast today, although dd and I stop in the food court to get something to munch on. dh gets to sleep in as he is not too interested in watching girlie stuff like makeovers.....so off to DTD and an 8:55a ressie. DTD is strangely empty - nothing opens to 9:30am. threat of rain today -

princess before the glamour

:( we get to BBB and what a transformation occurs!!

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274596513914380098

oh, and I had signed up for the "Secret Pop Star" thing (Hannah Montana) at $109 or something....when I got there she decided to just go with the "basic" package (hair and sash) which was $49 or something (woo hoo!) then she rationalized "well it is only $5 for the nail polish - can I get that?" I figured she just saved me several dollars so what the hey.

she chose the Diva look with blonde extensions..should have put my $0.02 in on that but hey - her choice eh? (only because for the rest of the trip I kept looking for a short haired red head and not a long haired blonde. It makes a difference...)

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274594581085310978

and our transformed princess....

http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274596491938938162
http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274596501364436466
http://picasaweb.google.com/krismores/DisneyNovember2008?authkey=pwAMgtSoPYw#5274596506182102146

so the hair stayed until we got home and had my hairdresser take it out on Friday..and she wanted this Mickey barrette that they give the updo/bun ones..they told me they can't sell them from BBB and the store we were in didn't have any to sell....then they found one! so still out $80+, though not the $109 I had already committed to parting with....

however, that was remedied shortly after as we ventured to the "build a dinosaur" workshop at the new T-Rex restaurant...mom should know better...so we got a new furry dino friend....and there went the money I saved!!!
