Thanks to everyone!!! I'm so excited about this deal and going down in Oct. Sure it might be a little more crowded because of all the activities but I have never been down to WDW during a hoilday!!!

Is there an extra charge for the food and wine festival? And what moderate resort would all of you suggest we stay at?

Thanks for all the great insight so far!!!:teeth:

Is the holiday you mention Halloween? If so, we have been at WDW many times during the end of Oct/first of Nov (doing it again this year) and unless there have been drastic changes, I have always found the crowds to be moderate.

Although we are DVCers, our favorite moderate is POR. The have a good pool area, good buffeteria as well as a decent restuarant, good gift shop, boat to DTD - lots of positives.

Hi,

I agree with the previous poster. Port Orleans Riverside is great!! Been there twice. Have heard good things about Port Orleans French Quarter too. Have fun!!

POR is very nice moderate hotel.
food and wine festival is included with Epcot park admission.
In the pavillions you can taste food from different countries, the cost is within the $3.00 up to $5.00 for food or wine.
