I wasn't sure where to post this, but this seemed as good a place as any....
In August I suffered an incredibly devastating loss. My 33 year old husband suddenly passed away. Our last vacation as a family with his daughter was to Disney World last year for her birthday. It was the best vacation ever and magical in so very many ways. It was her 8th birthday. I am so glad that that birthday will be memorable to her for more than the fact that it was the last one with her father.
What I really want to thank Disney for is this. We had purchased 8 day passes for our trip and only used 6. We added 2 more days and no expiration before leaving. This left us with 4 days and 4 or 5 plus options on each pass. I contacted Disney and they agreed to issue a new pass to me that I could give to anyone that I want. It expires in 2030, so that gives me 24 years to use it. Once the first use happens it will be bio-metrically linked to the new person. The best thing is that they allowed me to keep my husband's pass / room key as a memento.
Losing him has been an awful road, but I was impressed that the Disney company didn't add a roadblock....they made an awful experience a little easier.
I just wanted to share that with you all as an FYI and kudos.....

I don't know what else to say. I'm glad WDW sent you that special ticket.
