We just got back from our first stay at the Dolphin and I must say we absolutely loved it! We stayed there for 4 nights before our 4 day cruise on the Wonder and we really enjoyed the Dolphin so much. The grotto pool was fantastic, the room was very nice, and the staff was incredibly friendly!! We booked a standard room and got a free upgrade to a resort view with balcony. We saw fireworks from MGM and actually could hear the music as well!! It was great. We also saw the fireworks from Epcot while standing on the bridge. Just wanted to thank all of you on this board for the great tips and suggestions. Wish I was there now!

I am so glad you had a great stay - we, too, stayed at the Dolphin for the first time last summer and found it to be fabulous. So much so, we are returning in 4 days to stay at the Swan - thanks to spg and those terrific points!!!

Can you tell me what your room number was or where it was located. We booked a "lake view" room through Dreams Unlimited but when I checked our reservation on the Starwood site (we have an SPG Gold Card) it states that we are in a Resort View with Balcony and I am trying to figure out where these rooms would be located.
