Since I am leaving for my Disney cruise soon I thought I would thank everyone. Not only for advice about the cruise but about life. As you can see from my post count, I have not participated but lurked in the shadows for the past nine months. This board has given me so much information; saved me some money but most of all showed me that not everyone is out for themselves. There are people in this world that care. Not because they will get anything or the person they are helping is rich or famous. They help because they can. The way everyone comes together to help, pray, send pixie dust or just listen and answer questions is amazing. I need to thank all but there are a few I would like to thank specifically.
Jim (jgalecpa) You are the man with the words. If we need a laugh you give us one. If we need a cry or ahh you are there. You seem to write the words we were thinking or wish we thought of.
Rae (Rae519) You speak your mind, no matter if it against the grain. Everyone always knows where you stand. You dont say one thing to appease someone and then the opposite behind their back. This world would be a better place if people had a backbone and were willing to stand up for what they believe in. You are true to yourself this I admire.
Shirley (The Perfect Gift) You make trips magical. Some might say this is your business, but they dont know you. You give so much of yourself, you are a remarkable women. I hope you never forget that.
Ann (AnnMorin) You go on no matter what, even when life dealt you a blow. You had such a horrific childhood but you go on. You are the first to volunteer to help. You find the positive in so much. I would have crawled in a hole and said feel sorry for me. You hold your head up high and are willing to be there for others.
Andy (Veranda Man) No matter what you are the first one to do anything. I dont know how you do this but you seem to be able to do it all. If everyone had a quarter of your heart and an eighth of your gumption this world would be a better place to live.
Chris and Nate (the Page Family) They say God doesnt give us more than we can handle. Chris, you have been an inspiration to so many. You never asked for help or pity. You asked for prayers. You gave so much at the worst time of your life to strangers. Your strength in faith has taught everyone to be strong. Nate I can only imagine but I hope your dancing and looking down at your wonderful family. This family has affected so many people positively. Words can not express our gratitude for allowing us a glimpse of your life.
DAID (Matt Oumitt) WOW you make so much possible and never ask for any recognition. You just give because you thought it was the right thing to do. So many people will do the right thing if someone is watching, but ignore a situation if no one is paying attention. Character is who you are when no one but God is watching. Thank you for your strong character. Thank you for making dreams comes true.
DisBoards Thank you for having a forum where so many wonderful people can get together.
I know I just mentioned a few and forgot many. Thank you to EVERYONE for proving that there is good in this world. Thank you for taking time to help people you dont know. Thank you for not being lurkers but participating. Remember you affect not only the thousands that participate but also the thousands that lurk. Sorry this is so long. Ill go back to the shadows.
