Hello!
Slightly de-lurking to say thanks to Pete for playing my voicemail on the solo show last week, and for his very kind words! I was catching up on podcasts on my way home from Halloween festivities at GKTW last night (a huge success, btw!) and was quite surprised to hear my own voice coming from my speakers. I've been listening to the Podcast for years and I'm just thrilled to have something to share!
In addition to thanking the team, I did want to give a special shout out to Dave Parfitt. His GKTW segment really helped me "get it", and hearing how much fun he and his girls had on their tour just made me understand the Village in a completely different way. If you haven't listened to it yet, you should! Dave just reposted the "director's cut" right here:

I will also share that even after listening to this segment, even after hearing Pam Landwirth speak, even after working a few shifts as a visiting volunteer, there was still SO much I didn't know about GKTW -- now that I'm at the Village almost daily, I am learning just gobs and gobs of information and every single day I am blown away by what this organization is able to do and how many wonderful people come together to make things happen. It is just more fantastic than I could even imagine!
Thanks, team -- and let's go Power of 10!
