quick question for everyone: is thier pair REALLY stiff? sometimes I have tough time opening them, even without paper, and if I just cut some it is even tougher to open and the ears end up a little ragged.

I have not used decorative siccors much before, so if it is normal please reassure me

I just got some mickey scissors at WDW store at the MGM park
Mine seem to cut a big raggedly also - I haven't tried this yet but:

try cutting thru some wax paper before you cut into the craft/scrapbooking paper. Maybe that will help. It helps with the punches I have.
