Both my mother and sister are both Celiac, so the Celiac review of the counter service restaurants was of great interest to me.

As mentioned during the show, although to non-Celiac people the food may have tasted sub-par, to Celiac people it's really a choice of that or nothing at all. Also, the extra cost I believe is justified, as the ingredients needed are very expensive. Here in Toronto the largest pizza chain (Pizza Pizza) now serves gluten-free pizzas and charges around $3 more for a medium pizza.

Thanks once again. If my mother or sister ever plan another trip to WDW, it's good to know they will be taken care of.

Thanks from me too. My sister is Celiac, and it's great to be able to find some semi-decent gluten-free food for her to eat.

We also ate at Pizza Planet in DHS. My top tip for today - ask them to wait until the GF pizzas are ready before they serve up the normal food for the rest of the party. It can take a while.

My daughter is also a Celiac, she loves the food she gets at Disney -- also a note on something that came up during the podcast, the last time we were there, last year, we did the dining plan, and the gluten-free food was included in the dining plan, it was not extra. So that is something to consider when planning your trip.

No one in our family is Celiac, but it was a very interesting segment. I had the podcast on in the background, but stopped what I was doing to listen just out of curiosity. Very nice!
