Here now and though the parks seem less busy, and a brief afternoon storm may have cleared some out...I never knew the Osbourne Lights stayed open past park closure. Tonight's official closing was 8, last Fantasmic 8:30 (can't figure that out??? How do you have a show after park hours?) So we visited the Streets of America and lights from 7:45 until closing. What a great experience...such very low crowds! Able to enjoy and take in all the beautiful sights. So amazing...hope they find somewhere else for this display! Thanks for the tips here!

HS has a final showing of F! a lot of times 30 min after park closing time. Then once it's over, you exit the park

Most guests are already in the F! theater by "park closing time," anyway.
As CAS said, it's very common to schedule a F! a half-hour after the scheduled close of DHS.

Nobody seems to take notice that virtually every night of the year,
IllumiNations runs beginning at the time Epcot "closes."
And, many nights, Wishes begins at the time MK "closes."

Park "closing time" generally means that the ride entrances will close to admittance of additional guests,
but those still in line can continue to stay in line until they ride the attraction.

Don't forget that after the parks are "closed," there will still be major shops open for purchase of items as guests make their way out of the park.

Yes, other than shopping everything else was closed but we got to enjoy a very quiet Osbourne Lights from 7::45 until 9...very festive evening with CMs and guests dancing in the streets...Great way to say goodbye to the lights! My only hope is that they figure out somewhere else to put them in the future!
