Thanks for help re: AKL and Poly...but

My husband and I had a talk after I told him how much it would cost at either resort (after I revived him with smelling salts ) and came to a compromise. Instead of arriving a day early for our land/sea package we will arrive 2 days early and stay at Port Orleans-French Quarter. If you have any information on POFQ I would be happy to listen since we have never stayed there.

Well, it's a great resort...my personal favorite of the moderates. The theming is really fun and pretty and the pool is spectacular. The dragon around it is very fun to swim around. Our room had recently been renovated and it was good sized and well done. We had a perfect stay...no problems, nice staff, better than average food court... I loved the place

We did a split stay at POFQ and AKL last month, and we like POFQ better! We love the feel of it, quiet and lush. We love being on the Sassagoula River and taking the boat to DTD (you go past the old Treehouse Villas-spooky and interesting!) We love the beignets and the Chicken Jambalaya in the food court. We love the pool and our young sons love the serpent slide. We've stayed on the 3rd floors of bldg's #5 and #6, both facing the courtyard, and we were very pleased with those locations.
