We're just back from WDW and had a wonderful time with my father-in-law. We rented a scooter from Apple, and we rented a car starting our second day. The Fort Wilderness buses and boat to MK were easy to access even for a novice scooter-driver, and the drivers could not have been more helpful. Our Go-Go Elite disassembled easily and fit into the back of the car, so travel to the other parks and to various resort restaurants was smooth as silk. And the cast members everywhere (parks, parking, restaurants) were just as wonderful as you'd expect in the Most Magical Place on Earth!!

The only hiccup was, of course, when Granddad invited my DD4 to ride with him during MNSSHP (I forgot the stroller at home). I said no and got to be the Fun Squashing Yankee Wet Blanket until I tossed my daughter under the bus (she was off with Daddy at that moment), explaining that it was her erratic behavior that I mistrusted, not his care or driving. :rolleyes1

So thanks for all your help!!

a good story.

I feel a scooter makes Disney so much more enjoyable and doable for some.
