Thanks for all the AirTran advice

I don't often post on this board but I check in and out for things like "my rental rates have gone down", etc. and sometimes I'm lucky enough to benefit. Another frequent thread topic is "my AirTran (Delta, etc.) flights were changed and I never knew".

I've paid attention and so I keep checking my res for late August just in case. Guess what - I logged onto AirTran this morning for the first time in about a week and my res wasn't available anymore. So I tried just looking on the site as a standard reservation and my wonderful last-of-the-day 8:50 p.m. flight is GONE (Granted, it was a 1-stop through Atlanta and didn't get back until 12:54 a.m., but it was the last of the day, and meant we had more time in Disney.) No e-mail notification, no phone call, nothing.

So, I called AirTran and managed to snag 2 tix on the newest last flight of the day - a lovely nonstop at 7:31 p.m.

So - thanks to all of you who remind us that things do change and it's our responsibility to keep on top.

I too benefited from reading that thread. I thought I better check my return Air Tran flight for August just to make sure and they had bumped up our return time an hour earlier, everything I was trying to avoid when originally scheduling. It ended up that they switched our flight out 3 hours later (even better, actually what I originally wanted but was sold out) and now we go direct. That way we don't have to get up so early on our last day. I just hope there won't be anymore changes. I like what I have now!!!!

AFter reading your thread, we checked our tickets (not flying until
7/20) - the times changed, but, fortunately, only by a few minutes....
we'll keep watching them.

Our Sept 22 flight from BWI has only been changed by 1 min. But our return flight has been pushed back 20 min so far. I'f not for the DIS board I probabley would never have checked.
