Any other military families head out to your local Applebees yesterday for the Veteran's Day appreciation?

The kids and I took DH (current Army National Guard) and my dad (Korean War Vet). The place was packed. Took about 50 minutes to get a table. But the service was great! I didn't see this in their ad but our local place was also offering the special to dependents with a military ID and the kids meals were $1.99. So with dessert and drinks our grand total was $14.57.

We didn't do Applebees, but we did get a free Bloomin Onion from Outback Steakhouse.
