I'd like to thank EVERYONE who stopped in at Riddlecon over the weekend and also single out some folks who stepped up to make things very special....

Towncrier (John)! The pins were just perfect! Thanks so much for making them (and making them on the spot too!!! LOL!!). There a wonderful way to mark the occasion and serve as a great keepsake. You are absolutely awesome!!! Thank you!

December99 (Chris)! Thanks for setting things up at Damon's! Sharon is still talking about it. We had a great meal, great service in a great location. Wonderful choice! What a nice way to get acquanted too....strolling from table to table and having great conversations each stop on the way! Thank you!

Yepod (John)! For all the goodies that you brought to the pool party! We got there a little late and we were so surprised to see all the lime green toys there! All of those goodies really spiced the party up......and thanks for the lei too! (OH! And thanks from Willy and I for having the foresight to bring Coronas for the Saturday lunch!!! ) Thank you!

TheLK4 (Laura)! The T-shirts are just perfect. It was really neat to see another DISer walking down the midway in their Riddlecon shirt. I heard nothing but raves about them! Please pass along my thanks to your friend at Legend and Logos. She did a fabulous job. Thank you!

To all of the folks how showed up early to set up tablecloths for the lunch.....Thank you!

To everybody who represented for a DIS buddy......WELL DONE! It was great to be able to speak to so many friends as the cell phones went by. For all that you did for your buddies....Thank you!

To everybody who posted before the event and helped to stimulate conversation and interest and provided helpful tips. Thank you!

For all of the spouses, family and friends who love us all enough to let us indulge in these wonderful times. Thank you!

If I missed anyone, it's not because I don't appreciate your efforts, I'm weary from the weekend and the drive home. So, if I missed you, Thank you!

Once more, Thank you to everyone who came this past weekend, from near and far, it was wonderful to see you all and share some fun and good times with you. Thank you!

Sarah, Sue, and I had a great time. Sorry we lost track of everyone after Saturday's downpour. We did see Marla and Yepod as we drove past the Days Inn on the way home (at around 7:15PM), but I had the autopilot set on "home".

It was great to see old friends and even better to meet new friends. I agree with Bernie. Let's do this again.

Just shot you off a pm, Bernie. And here you already have a thread up Long drive home, LOTS of rain, and then the city traffic.

What a GREAT weekend, Bernie!!!!! And yes, thanks to all the above. It worked all so nicely, so much fun. Great seeing so many again, meeting some more for the first time, along with so many families, plus talking to lots of DIS'ers, literally, around the world. A super group of people, a great location, good food, lots of laughs, camaraderie, and memories. Thanks to all.

RC, the Original is now a wonderful memory, we need to set out collective sights on RC II.

Besides giving kudos to all mentioned above, (except for my humble self of course), I want to thank Breezy_Carol for coming up with the great idea of DIPP (the Days Inn pool party)!

Well it was a pretty brutal drive home- lots of rain and traffic- but we made it safe and sound.



I'm beat and will post more tomorrow, but I do want to thank Bernie and everyone who helped plan this, and everyone who was there- it was just a wonderful, happy, fun weekend and the only thing bad about it was that it had to end. . .


I just enjoyed meeting people I hadn't before, and seeing those I had met again. . . it was just one heck of a good time, and thanks to all of you for letting Maggie and I be part of it!!


But mainly I want to thank Yepod, because without his courage, foresight, and generous spirit we wouldn't have had cold beers at Saturday's lunch. . you are 'da man John!!!

Seriously sweetie, it was great to finally meet you and Kara and get the chance to hang-out with you so much; I just hated to say goodbye this morning. .

But we'll definitely find a way to meet up with you both again soon. . .

I definately second the thanks to Marla for the second late night party with margaritas! I missed the clown bus the fiirst night but got to see Carol climbing thru the window in her Angel uniform (I think she did anyway, like Willy said, memories are a bit fuzzy)!

And no, you da man Willy! The Willyisms were EXCELLENT! Just wished I'd have written em down! Maggie could make a fortune if she were to publish these!

Willy, we had an awful drive home too. Glad to safely get to our own beds at 1 AM.

And I would like to clear up some rumors. I did NOT wear the uniform to Marla's room. And both Andrew and I followed Kara in through that window. (These parties really taught the two of them things they shouldn't have learned.)

I thought RiddleCon II was going to be at Kennywood with the pool party at LK's house.

Sounds like a few of us had "interesting" journeys home! LOL! We had a 3 hour delay due to severe weather on the east coast... where our plane and flight crew were grounded. Mean't we got to Seattle at about 11 pm and then had to drive the 4 hours the rest of the way home after that.... I am POOPED out this morning!

We had a great time though and it was SOO worth it.

I echo everyone else who said Thank You to Bernie for being the reasn that we all get together every morning here on the Dis! I had an absolutley wonderful time this weekend. Reconnecting with those Dises I had already met & meeting some new ones too. I am looking forward to next year too!!
Riddle Con II.....The Sequel..........

Thank YOU, Bernie, for being the inspiration for Riddle-Con! I had a great time. I wish I could've gotten there earlier to have dinner with the group and then see for myself the antics at the pool party! If I had known Glo was leaving Saturday a.m. - I would've dragged my tired body over to the Days Inn Friday night.

I'm looking forward to Riddle-Con II -wherever it takes place!
