Thank you for all the help you've given me in planning for my trips, which, as you know, are more than vacations for the most of us.
Thank you for making me feel good about the decisions I've made and for helping me think better of the ones that maybe weren't the best.
Thank you for answering questions.
Thank you for helping me find the way.
Thank you for entertaining me and being my friends and letting me lurk and subscribe.
I think it's just so neat that there is this group of us. Yes it's huge and disparate but we have something in common that may seem silly to others... but it's not.
It's a reason. I love that feeling. You know that feeling. Goosebumps and teary eyes and pure joy mixed with something you can't explain.
So happy you're here with those you love, missing those you can't be with but purely purely happy.
We all have parts of the trips to WDW that we love. I love planning the trip - it stretches it out, and brings it home even when I'm not there. Don't get me wrong, I also love the trips themselves, but I find it so satisfying to find gems of wisdom from these boards to put into my trips. I know that there are things I'd have missed without you.
Yes they are just vacations, maybe frivolous, maybe even ill-advised economically... but they are needed.
You need to go home. You need to go to the place where you get the misty eyes are the childlike joy.
You need to get excited about a parade or Splash Mountain or Soarin'
It's good for you. I don't mean to sound grandiose or ridiculous but life is meant to live, and if you find what you want to do... well find a way to do it. And you people have helped me, and I couldn't be more grateful.
I love that we disagree and I love that we agree but I love that we all get that feeling when we cross into Disney World.
We are home.
