To the wonderful members of the WISH board,
I just felt like I needed to post to let you guys know that I am grateful to you all.
I have been lurking here for a few weeks now. I have just recently decided to try and improve my life - both spiritually and physically. So I think finding this board was really a perfect coincidence.
This board has provided me with a lot of useful information to help me lose the pounds I need to get rid of. Here are some of the information that I got here that I have taken advantage of:
- This is where I first heard of CAD (Carbohydrate Addict's Diet). I picked up a book from the library to learn more about it and I'm currently on my third week on this diet.
- low-carb recipes. I baked my first low-carb cheesecake last week and I'm having a slice for breakfast most days! I'm glad I won't have to eat an omelet every morning now.
- ideas on low-carb food. I just ordered the low-carb tortilla somebody recommended. I can't wait to get them.
- exercise ideas. I got the Walk Away Pounds tapes because of all the positive posts about it. I've only tried it a couple of times but I am really liking it. My daughter even joins me on the walks.
I'd also like to try-out Curves but I'm still not sure about it yet. I have trouble going out of the house to exercise.
- other low-carb web-sites
- positive thoughts WISH'ers share with each other!
Thanks a lot for all the information and inspiration!
I don't think I'll pick-up the WISH challenge clip-art right now. My main objective right now is really to work on my spiritual side. But I'm really excited about all the changes happening with me and I owe some of them to you. Thanks!
